Cowboy detectives Old Red and Big Red find murder on board a train after they sign up with the Southern Pacific as detectives. Can Old Red figure out who the killer is? Lots of great suspense and an ending I couldn't put down. Unfortunately, the language really bothered me.

RHS I Can Grow A Sunflower is endorsed by the Royal Horticultural Society and makes a great starting book for a young gardener with this easy to read, educational guide to growing a sunflower, that comes with free seeds and a sunflower height chart, too!

Sixteen bright board book pages reveal the life cycle of a sunflower, and the excitement of growing a plant from seed. It also has some fun gardening and small critter facts and has fun flaps that open up to reveal hiding creatures!

Winner of the silver award at the Junior Design Awards 2018 – Best Pre-Schooler Book 2-5 Years – this is certainly a book to recommend to parents for children of this age, because not only is it educational, it enables hands-on experience and fun quality time together. It’s a pretty book to gift, that’s also practical and intriguing.

At this point, my daughter is still too young to actually read. I've been using this book more to get her in the habit of handling books than I have as an actual learning tool.

The pages are sturdier than the other board books she's gotten, so she can actually flip from one page to another on her own, and the pages don't dissolve when she chews on them. Bonus points for that!

I can see that this book would work nicely as a baby dictionary, to teach children to associate words with pictures of everyday things - from colors, to clothes, to animals.

The book is made for babies and Toddlers. It a board book that is good for toddlers and babies along with young children. What a book that will help teach children or toddlers a bit of there shapes. This book does just that. It is good to entertain little children by allowing them to point and play with the book. It made for that.

This book is really good for toddlers and parents. I know toddlers like to play with books or parents want books that work with little children. They can do that with this book. Children and toddlers and point and see if they can find the shapes the book is asking them too.

I love books that can teach and learn about different things. It is cute but enjoyable. It is good for the ages of 00 to 04. Which I say is newborn to 4 years olds. The book is colorful. Jaine has earned herself a free vacation by agreeing to teach memoire writing aboard a cruise ship. But things go from bad (her cat stows away) to worse when someone is murdered on board and Jaine's new friend is accused of the crime. Absolutely hilarious as always with a decent mystery as well.

Jane Steward is trying to get more income to her family’s Storyton Hall, already famous as a retreat for readers. But her idea of a Mystery and Mayhem Week begins with a murder and a stolen book. What secrets will she uncover?

This book attempts to do something a little different with the cozy genre, and I’ll admit it took me a little while to get on board, but once I did I found I liked the idea. I also really did love the characters. Unfortunately, the plot came up short, leaving us with some loose threads and a plot hole or two along the way. I wanted to like this book more, but the weak plot really does bother me.
