I received a copy of Becoming Superman from HarperCollins Publishers through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Wow, this book was exceptional. The beginning was horrifying but somehow entrancing in a way that all survivor stories are.

Joe Straczynski made a choice and by Grabthars hammer he stuck with it.

The raw determination espoused is nothing short of inspiring.

I don't think I can put into words how much this book touched me and I am so glad to have read it.

Wow, this book was amazing! The writing is beautiful and atmospheric, and do delightfully creepy.

This is based off of the 12 dancing princess story and then barrels it's way in an incredible but completely unexpected direction.

I loved Annaleigh and her sisters. There voices were authentic and tragic. The pervasive loneliness and isolation of the Thaumus sisters was portrayed so we'll!

Where Are You, Wilbert?

Where Are You, Wilbert? by Bárdur Oskarsson is a picture book about a small gray rat and her large gray friend, Wilbert. They are playing hide-and-seek. Wilbert is tough to find, so the rat asks a crocodile for help. Together, they hunt behind every tree they can see, and finally, the rat spots Wilbert. The illustrations are strange and lovely at the same time.

While I enjoyed the book, I did find the book a bit strange and hard to follow.

I absolutely loved this book. Brandy is one of the best characters I've come across in a while. She's funny, and extremely realistic. Jer her love interest, is a great addition to the story. He has everything going for him in a way that makes him extremely dreamy. He also has just enough flaws to keep him from outshining the other characters.
If you are interested in a romantic comedy featuring a late bloomer, then this is definitely a book you should pick up.

I think this book should be required reading for everyone. I would have given this book a 4.5 star rating so I rounded up to 5.

Debbie Tung was able to explain introversion better than any other book I have read. The stories were accurate and relatable. They showed the anxiety and the thought processes that I have gone through. I really appreciated the honesty in this book.

The drawings were well done, and they enhanced this graphic novel a lot. All in all, this is a good graphic novel that can show introverts that they're not alone and show extroverts that there is nothing wrong with being quite. Seriously, just read this.

When someone starts framing Nick Fox for an international crime spree, FBI agent Kate O’Hare has to jump in to find the true villain. But answers just lead them to a con that is the most dangerous of their partnership.

As always, this book is fast paced and fun with humor to keep things light and danger to keep the pages turning. The characters are getting better, but they could still be stronger. Still, I had so much fun reading this book.

NOTE: I was sent an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

A Very Blessed Christmas Coloring Book by Robin Mead brings scripture into coloring, while allowing me to color in a relaxed quite moment.

The images are a mix of secular and religious, all related to the Christmas season. There are some beautiful Biblical quotes related to the season too, surrounded by artwork to color.

This book has a section for Christmas crafts such as cutouts to make ornaments, bookmarks or even gift tags. I love that this coloring book is unique and is perfect for everyone. It is inspirational, filled with beautiful pictures of angels, snowflakes, trees, stocking, nativity and so much more.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I wanted to read this book because the title reminded me of a John Bellairs book and then i found out it was based on the Robert doll!

So thanks, Jolly Fish Press, because it was an absolute delight!

Al for some reason taunts a doll in a museum and starts to see spooky things. Nothing too nefarious, thought, because this is a middle grade book.

The atmosphere is wonderfully creepy as Al wonders if he's really being haunted or losing his mind.

I really liked the illustrations. I feel they added a lot to the atmosphere of the story.

If you're looking for the grim dark n edgy that DC does to varying degrees of wellness this book is not for you.

If you want a silly romp that revels in outrageous fun and Easter eggs? This is your book!

Hiram Lodge wants to drain a swamp and build over it. Pamela finds out about this and gets Harley to join her in kidnapping Betty and Veronica.

Which would have worked out beautifully if not for Zatanna and Sabrina.

Oops!

I don't think I can properly express the joy this book brought me. It's absolutely delightful!
