I received a copy of American Royals from Random House Books for Young Readers through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I thought this book had a great premise but was a little disappointed at the lack of history. All we got is that in this verse it is a faux pas to drink tea.
Okayyyy.
The characters are great but there's that lack of communication trope so present in ya novels.

Canada Year by Year by Elizabeth MacLeod is a wonderful non=fictional book about Canada. The book gives facts from the start of when Canada became a country in 1867 to 2017 when Canada turns 150 years old. The author has picked one event per year to highlight, which includes Nobel prize winners, Olympic champions, government firsts, women’s rights as well as inventions.

Readers will learn about Canadian history through pictures and text. It is perfect for learning about Canadian history whether for being more knowledgable about the country, or doing research for a school project. The book is written in a middle school level but any age from 9 and up will enjoy this informative book about Canada. The illustrations are wonderful and add to the text. In the back of the book there is a biography section about famous Canadians. I would love to have this book part of my classroom library.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Honestly, I really wanted to love this book. The description was fun, the cover was cute, and I had just finished yet another contemporary romance that featured a prince, AKA everything pointed to the fact that I would love this book. Boy was I wrong.

The idea of this book is intriguing but I hated how opinionated this book was. The book was filled with the authors unending opinions with very little to back them up. She tears down other opinions and yet assumes that we all should agree with her. FYI, if you look at Beauty and the Beast he is emotionally abusive and holds her hostage by stating that if she doesn't stay her father's life is forfeit. Wow... great guy. This is also coming from someone who LOVES the movie. It is actually my favorite Disney movie. It's okay to see that the stories have issues.

This book frustrated me. Ultimately, I loved the concept but I was unimpressed with the final product.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review when I signed up to host the book tour. I made no guarantee of a favorable review.

This was a good read with not one, but two strong female leads who are strong willed and not afraid of saying what needs to be said or doing what needs to be done. This fantasy book is well written with believable characters and contains sexual situations. The only thing lacking in this novella is that I found it to be way too short. I look forward to reading more of this author's books.

Wow.. so this isn't my normal genre but I wanted to try it. The author sent me a signed copy of his book in exchange for my review. This book made me think.. a lot. It took me longer to read due to that. I really enjoyed it... the plot was very good and kept me hooked to find out what was next. The characters were enjoyable and I am very glad I found this author. He will be on my tbr list for any other books that he writes. :) Very glad I found this one.

Natalie is out picking wild blueberries when she finds a body floating in a boat. Since the boat belongs to her niece's boyfriend, he is naturally a suspect. Can Natalie clear him?

I love the characters in this series, and it's always wonderful to spend more time with them. The plot started out a bit slowly, but it soon gained speed and kept me intrigued until the end.

NOTE: I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Knitted Toys: 20 Cute and Colorful Projects by Jody Long is a book with cute knitted toy patterns. The book has instructions and images of the final project. I love the wide variety of toys to make. I'm not very good at knitting but I would like to try my best effort at making these adorable toys. There was a variety of toys from a fire engine, to several animals. The instructions are clear and straight forward.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and Chatterbox by HouseParty in exchange for my honest review. I was really disappointed in this book. It wasn't really a suspenseful mystery at all and it was really hard to follow. It started off slow - the flashbacks were very confusing, and by time things got interesting at university, everything started going downhill and getting more and more confusing. Too many interwoven stories forced to connect and byt the end it all fell flat. The end was a total cop out. Like she totally gave up. Not a fan. #RHMysteryPack #Sponsored

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I liked this book need a teensy bit less than #9 but i can't really put my finger on why.

Sukey and Vicky see a suspicious man passing off an envelope and then he dies in a car crash that seems very suspicious.

A head found on the beach is connected and our friends s and V are on the case .

I don't know, this one just seemed a lot more slow going for me.

I like it a lot, though!
