I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed the world-building in this one. The magical characters were fascinating.

The problem i had with it is that i could not connect with the main character, Olivia. She seemed very shallow and immature.

What's the deal with the slut-shaming?

It's possible that it could be an original story thing and the in the next book I'll like her more, though.

I really hope so because the action scenes and the world-building are really well done.

I thought this was a really cool take on the little mermaid story. I have no idea if that was intentional because this book is about sirens not mermaids but there are definitely parallels.

I really like Annie's family issues. They informed a lot of her character and explained a lot.

It was a bit slow at first but once it gets going it does not stop. This could easily be a stand alone but I'm really hoping for a sequel!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Having already devoured a Luke Chmilenko collaboration, I was greatly anticipating Savage Dominion by Luke Chmilenko and G.D. Penman. This book did not disappoint!!

From the very beginning, this book reads like the best RPG you have ever played. Three unlikely characters become travelling companions, and then almost friends as they take on challenges and quests together. We see them levelling up and learning new skills and abilities as they proceed on their journey.

Already looking forward to Savage Dominion: Wyrmshard!!

Michelle are Erica are pleased when their combined chocolate and bookstore is chosen to host a reception to honor a donation of ancient Maya artifacts to a local museum. However, the day after the reception, the artifacts are missing, and a day later someone is murdered. Can the friends figure out what is going on?

I enjoyed the first book, but I liked this one even more. The characters are strong, and I loved seeing how the returning characters developed further over the course of the book. The plots was strong, and because of the subject matter included more than the typical cozy plot, which I also enjoyed. I’m already looking forward to book three.

Great Book !!!

This book was a great start to a new series, I loved the reactions of the characters to the things that happened throughout the book. They were very believable, and they made me want to bake cookies :) .

I thought Myrna was a good character and I loved the play between her and Zeke, I wish it would have been a longer story as I didn't want it to end :)

The only thing that I didn't particularly like was all the bouncing around between the characters, however it was still a great story, and I would definitely recommend adding it to your TBR Pile. I can't wait to read the next book in the series !! I really love Sarah Price's Books :)

I volunteered to read this book from Kingston Books in exchange for my honest feedback, the thoughts and opinions expressed within are my own.

**I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review**

Hmm...I struggled with this book. It isn't anything like the other New Adult book I've read and I just couldn't get into it.

It might have had something to do with the two main characters not meeting until about 35% into the book and I'm not sure how I felt about the dual POV. I normally read one, generally the female perspective.

I can't say I really felt anything towards the characters either, they both wound me up a bit: Jesse, with his having sex with anything female until he met Niki and Niki throwing a fit when Jesse got into the fight protecting his friend and when he defended her honour.

Not for me, really, but I also have the second book, Fearless, to read too.

I received a copy of The Girl the Sea Gave back from Wednesday Books through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book. It's the second in the series but I honestly didn't feel I missed anything by not reading the first one.

I loved the short flashback to Halvard and Tova's pasts.

I saw in some reviews that people thought there was too much romance but honestly I didn't get that at all.

I really enjoyed this one!

Marlee (the mc) becomes involved when the town eccentric wants to use berries for magical protection.

I really liked Marlee as a character. She's smart and quick-thinking.

She tries to help the woman she knows as Leticia and ends up discovering a corpse.

The townsfolk are fully realized. I really liked Theo, Tess, and Natasha.
