This novel is told from multiple perspectives, so it is quite hard to choose the main character. I think they all played a very important part in this book. I really liked Isla and Mina (police detective investigating the murders), they are two smart, dedicated, and determined women. Ramsey’s (Isla’s husband) parts were quite boring, and my mind just wandered off on multiple occasions. I liked the way the characters interacted between each other, and even though they are into different things, they all had something to offer to this investigation.

I liked the narrative of this book, it was full of surprises and you never knew who is going to die next. The investigation part was quite slow and not very inventive, but I enjoyed all the twists and deception it had to offer. I have to admit, after finishing this book, I had a ton of questions and some of the things didn’t make sense to me.

The writing style was creative, and overall delivery of the book was pretty good. The chapters had a decent length and didn’t leave me bored. I liked the ending of the book, it was very unexpected and it rounded up the story very nicely. This book carries some gross details about murders, so it’s a joy for gory crime lovers, but a nightmare for sensitive readers. :S

So, to conclude, I liked this twisty story, filled with psychopaths and the reasons why they become one. Even though I have lots of unanswered questions, I hope that after reading, it will make more sense to you.

I love this app! It is super useful to help keep track of books that I've read and want to read. I enjoy participating in the yearly reading challenge. I love being able to categorise books in different custom lists, so that when I want to buy/borrow a certain genre I just browse through the categories I sorted them into.

The ratings and reviews have helped me find really good books! I've also found great ones through their recommendation system. Also, via their book giveaways I've received over ten books to read and review (though reviewing is technically optional). The book club groups are great; I've enjoyed discussing books and finding new books to read with other like-minded people.

My only gripes are that the app leaves a lot to be desired compared to the actual website functions. It is much easier to whip out my phone to update my reading progress really quickly, but there are times I have to drag out my laptop to access certain features because for some reason they didn't implement them in the app.

I'd also love half star rating options, and if my books would always save correctly. I'd also like if I could pick which edition on the app (i.e. I read the hardcover), but as far as I know it just picks whatever (i.e., I clicked "currently reading" on the book that popped up in search, and it used the e-book). If I want to fix it I have to edit it on the website.

Overall I really love this app, and I think they'll eventually fix these issues and give users what they want.

love love LOVED this one!
I was gifted my copy of this book, direct from the author, that I write a review was my choice.

This is Ms Pauls second step into the Krinar world and I loved it!

Liv wants to make sure her brothers survive, makes a deal with Zavir to ensure they will not be harmed when he smashes the resistance ring they are part of. But little Liv makes Zavir want to keep her, and the only way to do that, is to betray her trust.

OoOOOEEEEE!!! I loved these two!!

Powerful, instant attraction. Powerful hatred of the other. enemies to lovers. Betrayal from some many around them. So much right up my street, I read the whole book in one sitting, and did not move til I finished!

It's sexy, it's dark, it's full of hope, and despair, the whole bloody gamut of human, and indeed, Krinar emotions all wrapped up in some 200 pages that is just bloody brilliant!!

Because it's a world written by different authors, you don't need to read them all in any order of order, I don't think. But what I'm left with now, is the overwhelming NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED for every single book in this world, and there are a fair few!!

I loved this book, did I say that yet??

so, it can only get...
