Fast, fun, and thoroughly absorbing. I loved the main characters and thought the story was done well. I have a bit of an issue with the cliff-hanger, but luckily I'll get to the next book soon. This isn't what I'd call a 'deep' book, but I had fun reading it and look forward to the others in the series. :)

Alpha is a brilliant book to finish the series, it actually made me cry, you really felt for Faythe and the struggles and dilemma's she was faced with.
Rachel Vincent really pulled you in and made you feel as if you were there with Faythe.
The only issue I have with this book is that its the last one.....I want more :)

This book was a quick read. The plot flowed really well. It was nice to see a main character my age although I can not relate to coming out that late in life. The internal conflict Mickey goes through really shows the complexity of coming out. The characters overall were very likeable and I have already gotten the next book in the series.

When a bird lands on Gerald's head, he worries while Piggie narrates what is happening. As another one comes and they build a nest and hatch some eggs, the comedy continues. Delightful entry in this great picture book series.

This is the second book in the series. It follows Emily and her brother as they continue out on their journey to save their mother. Again, the artwork in this book is stunning, I had to stop and look at some of the pages that were just art. The author does a good job keeping the readers engaged in the story.

A missing girl in the modern day dovetails with Evan finding the skeleton of a girl who went missing 25 years ago. Are the two connected? We're back to the charm and intrigue of the series now in another strong book.

In the final of this three books series, Nick Barrett is investigating a 25 year old disappearance. What he learns uncovers deeply held secrets of the rich of Charleston. Another great book where each answer leads to more questions.

The final Left Behind book follows our characters during the 1000 year millennial kingdom of Christ. I have enjoyed previous books in the series, but this one fell flat with very little real drama. The characters are worse then one dimensional as well.

I was not sure if I was going to enjoy this book as much as the others. I was wrong as it is a steaming read. I loved the fact it focused on each character in turn. I cannot wait until the next book in the series. Jaine needs to add members to the band so we can have more stories!
