        Loved this So much!

It is very unusual for me to love a book as much as the first in a series. The romance is a tad bit dull, only because it is constant. That aspect makes it sweet and I still enjoyed it. This book was action packed while still tugging on my heart strings. I read this twice in preparation for the next installment coming May 2018!!

this is the first book in the series and what a start. I loved every page and couldn't put it down. this book is a hot steamy read but does have a cliff hanger ending. the author has a fantastic way with words which make you feel your actually in Paris. brilliant characters and fab story line. will definitely be getting the next one.

what a fab read, I really loved the characters and the story. this I a story of love, betrayal and family which will keep you reading long into the night. this book has plenty of suspense to keep a hold on you. this is the second book I've read in the nine circles series but it can be read as a stand alone.

Victoria Green (34 KP) rated Goodreads: Book Reviews in Apps
Jun 6, 2019
I have always been using Goodreads for years and would never change the fact that it has always helped me when I needed to look up a book. Love how I can scan a paperback book, so I can see the reviews and the other books in the series and will continue to in the future.
I would always recommend this app to new authors and readers.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2434 KP) rated The Mystery of the Missing Heiress (Trixie Belden, #16) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
This kid's mystery finds Trixie Belden trying to help a young woman with amnesia find out who she really is. This is the first time I've reread a book in this favorite series in years. I loved spending time with the characters, but I have always found this plot a little weak.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2434 KP) rated The Everafter War (The Sisters Grimm, #7) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
It's full out war as the Grimm family trains some Everafters to try to take down the Scarlett Hand. This is the darkest book in the series so far, and it doesn't feel like it has a real climax. However, I did enjoy it and look forward to reading the next one.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2434 KP) rated Arsenic and Old Puzzles (Puzzle Lady #14) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Cora Felton has found herself involved in another murder when a Sudoku shows up on the body of a man poisoned at a boarding house in town. It's the usual verbal sparring and puzzles fans of the series will love. I was just bothered by one action Cora took part way through the book.

This is the autobiography of VeggieTales creator Phil Vischer. It tells the story of the rise and fall of the Christian video franchise and the lessons he learned from it. As a fan of the series, it was great to learn what happened. The book was well written, challenging, and highly entertaining.

Amanda Mahaffey (3 KP) rated The Bride Next Door (Chapel of Love) in Books
Mar 15, 2018
Courtney is all about putting guys in categories where she thinks they belong. Matt is young and feels like a disappointment to his dad. The story of these two getting together was great. They both have deal with their insecurities and trust issues from their past. I enjoyed this book I lived both of their stories and how they are able to work through it. Can't wait to read the next book in the series

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2434 KP) rated The Black Dove in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Big Red and Old Red are still in San Francisco when a chance encounter with a friend leads them into a murder in China town. This book has some funny parts, but it is darker than the previous two books in the series. Still, it was a fun trip through the San Francisco of 1893.
