This well written story kept my interest from beginning to end and the characters are all unique and jump right out of the pages. Lisa is my favorite character and little by little she realizes that things are often not as they seem. I look forward to reading the second book in this series!!

Fantastic Plot! Better than the movie!
Such a great series. Absolutely fell in love with this book and all of the other Hunger Games books! The characters are loveable and there is a lot of action and emotion happening. I read through it within a day and loved every minute of it!

this was the second in the series and it was just as good if not better than the first! you are thrown right back into the story and the depth that comes is so enveloping. I would be surprised if someone didn't finish the book the same day they started just to know what happens!

Still loving the series sooo much!!! This book just felt more dragged out than the others.. still loved it but it took me longer to get through as certain parts just didn’t have me as captivated as the rest.

Upon second read id give it 10/10 if you skip certain chapters (which I did) ?

I'd heard a lot about this series so I was excited to be given a chance to review it but I didn't think it really lived upto the hype. The book was enjoyable and although I liked the characters i felt they needed more work. The only thing I didn't like was the abrupt ending.

Weak.

I would have liked this if I was 12. I'm the wrong demographic I guess.

However, the next book is being written by an author I like, and I hear there are SEVEN books in the series... sounds a little more intriguing so I might skim some of them later when they come out.

"In addition to writing for adults, I have loved writing for children. The first of these, My Life with the Chimpanzees, was written at Gombe during a series of rainy days – it was the only book that was first hand written on paper – the words just flowed from my pen and needed but little revision."

Most of the book was predictable, but not in an annoyingly overbearing way. While I enjoyed it, there were moments that were so abrupt, I kind of felt like sentences had been removed. This was interesting enough that I read it in one sitting, but I'm still contemplating whether or not to continue the series.
