Miguel Covarrubias (143 KP) rated The Long Earth in Books
Apr 30, 2019
I love Terri Pratchett! I love the dry British humor that is sprinkled throughout makes this book one of my favorite recent reads. I love multiple world books. I love books that treat the concept with love and care, yet also don't take themselves too seriously. I'm looking forward to checking out the others in this series!

BEAUTIFUL!!!! I had so many emotions when I was reading this. From almost crying to squealing with joy at the turn of a page, this book made me so happy! Thank you so much Kiera Cass for writing this series and allowing the world to experience this story. I am definitely recommending this to all of my friends!!

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2346 KP) rated Evans Above (Constable Evans, #1) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
This great series begins when Constable Evan Evans finds two bodies outside his small village. While it's not his job, he begins to investigate. The small village charm and great characters draw you into the story.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2346 KP) rated Legend of the Gilded Saber (Accidental Detectives, #3) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
The Accidental Detectives are visiting Mike's uncle in Charleston when they get involved in a museum robbery with Mike's cousin as the chief suspect. Not the strongest mystery in the series, but the characters are still fun.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2346 KP) rated Desecration (Left Behind, #9) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
The Tribulation Force starts ferrying the Jews to safety as Nicolae gets ready to defile the Temple. One of the stronger entries in the late part of the series, the action moves quickly and keeps your attention.

Hazel (1853 KP) rated The Quantum Thief in Books
Dec 7, 2018
I have no idea what I have just read. I did not understand it at all. It felt like I had begun reading halfway through the book or midway through a series. I have a vague idea of what was happening but it was very confusing and hard to work out who was who and what was going on.

ashezbookz (32 KP) rated Twisted In You (a Twisted Romance, #1) in Books
Jul 5, 2018
Wonderful face paced love triangle filled contemporary romance - I read it nearly in one sitting and once you get into it a bit you get hooked and just can't put the book down. I'm so happy to see that it's a series because I NEED to know what happens with a few of the secondary characters .. loved it!

Leah (: (569 KP) rated Kiss Me (Keatyn Chronicles book 2) in Books
Jul 26, 2018
The second book in the Keatyn Chronicles is just as good as the first. Keatyn tries to continue with her life and adjust now she is at boarding school.
The continuation of the writing style as a diary really helps you to become invested in Keatyn’s daily life and struggles.
Definitely recommend this series if you enjoy YA romances.
