Not As Good As The First One
I really enjoyed the first book in this series, so I was looking forward to this one. Unfortunately a lot of the things I loved so much about the first one didn't really shine through as well here. I still enjoyed Alosa's character, but the direction of the story did her a disservice. The story just left me feeling disappointed.

This is the second book in the Pink Bean Series but it takes you back in time to give you the background of Kristen and Sheryl, the owner of the Pink Bean. The progression through this plot was seemless even though it spaned a large amount of time. Bliss really does anamazing job conveying the deepness of Kristen and Sheryl's relationship. I loved it!

First, Brad and Ashleigh's home is robbed and an antique teddy bear stolen. Then the local museum curator is found murdered. What's going on in their small Virginia town? Another winner in this series. The plot moves along well and the characters kept me laughing.

When Trixie finds a letter in a hidden part of the attic, she concludes that there are hidden emeralds near Williamsburg. Will the Bob-Whites get to go and find them? A great trip and a fun mystery filled with the series characters at their best.

Jaine reluctantly agrees to write the wedding vows for the ultimate bridezilla. But when the Bride dies as the ceremony begins, Jaine begins digging to find out who killed her client. This is my favorite in the series. The mystery is great and it is so funny.

I am not a big reader of dystopia novels, science fiction or fantasy. I am unsure where this goes, but I don't care. This has to be one of my favorite books of 2018. Neal Schusterman does a great job of developing the story, but also the characters. I would highly recommend this story to others. I can't wait to read the second book in the series.

F*** Elves
My absolute favorite of the Witches series. Seriously, there is so much awesome in this book, you have to do yourself a favor and read. Pratchett's take on faeries and elves echoes back to the respect once given to them that kept people from enchanted places. Of course, in true STP fashion, there's also quite a bit of fun along the way.

Robyn Peterman knows how to write a witty, sassy, hilarious with the right amount of sexiness story!
Hank 'The Tank' is one sexy alpha. Essie is beautiful and sassy.
Put them together with her best friend Dwayne (a gay Vampyre), Granny, a few Tina's, and some dragons and you have one laugh out loud story!
Looking forward to the next book in this series.
