this is the first in a new series and what a start. this can be read as a standalone book. this is a lovely romance story you'll want to keep reading. I loved the characters and the story was well written. the story plays out slowly with the chemistry between the characters builds and builds. cant wait to read more.

Lady Georgiana sets out to start life on her own in 1920's London. Unfortunately, her social status means she isn't fit for any normal job. Even worse, there's the dead man in her bathtub. The mystery starts late, but I enjoyed every moment of this series debut.

The slow march toward the crucifixion continues as we get the story of tax collector Zachai of Jericho. While this historical fiction series has been more hit and miss than normal for the Thoenes, I got emotionally drawn into this volume even though I knew the ultimate outcome.

Carstairs sends Mrs. Pollifax off to meet a defecting Russian agent for her second case. However, soon her bodyguard is killed and she is in a race across Turkey to get herself and the agent out alive. Just as much danger, suspense, and fun as the first in the series.

Egg Drop Dead is the 7th Cackleberry Club mystery and I will definitely be going back to catch up with this series. Suzanne, Toni, and Petra were such affable, believable women, that mid-way through the book I felt as though they were people I really knew, and not just characters in a story. Add to that a well-paced mystery and you have a really enjoyable cozy.

Georgie leaves London just ahead of a scandal and discovers that Scotland can be just as dangerous. Someone is targeting the royal family. Can she find out who it is? This series is light and fun, and I enjoyed every minute of my visit to 1932 Great Britain.

Michael Westen takes on the case of former bank robber Bruce Grossman who needs to return some items stolen from a vicious biker gang. The plot was wonderful and the characters were spot on to their TV selves. Great read, but a must read for fans of the series.

Shawn and Gus are hired to find a magician that disappeared during his magic trick and figure out who the dead guy was who appeared in the magic tank in his place. The series characters were spot on and the plot was the zany fun you'd expect from this franchise.

Josh is the seventh book in The Lawmen Of Silver Creek Ranch Series. Ive enjoyed all of the previous books but this was lacking the romance and excitement i've come to expect. Thankfully not as many "Oh Mercy" 's in this story, which drove me mad in Delores other books but too many telephone calls in this, Josh spends most of his time on the phone than solving the crime.
