This is the third book in the Flame series and can be read as a standalone, but really, why would you? All of these books are simply amazing, with storylines that will wow you with their intricacy and detail.

Dark Flame is about Brann and Juliet. They met in 'real time' just once, but have been meeting up in Dreamglides since then. When they meet in real time again, Brann starts to remember things that he's sure never happened. Well, they did but in their Dreamglide.

Roche is an evil piece of work that even the Drug Cartels are miffed at. The Shifters hate him as too many of their females are taken and killed, so they are more than happy to assist Bran and Juliet when the time comes.

There is a little side story of Mary and Fergus that we have snippets of, and I really can't wait to learn more about them both.

Well-written and action-packed, this is an excellent addition to the Flames series. Highly recommended.

I had forgotten just how much I loved reading the Harry Potter series until I picked this book up again.
Following Harry after losing his parents, finding out he is a wizard and then all of his antics at Hogwarts took me right back to my first time reading this as a child. Although very similar to the films, the book (as is the case most of the time) was so much better and had a few changes and scenes that weren’t in the film, which would have been amazing to see on screen.
Harry, Ron and Hermione are the lovable Golden Trio of my childhood. But I was amazed at just how long into the book Harry and Ron became friends with Hermione, I didn’t think it was that long! I loved the introduction to magic that we had and all of the different basic classes that young witches and wizards have to be taught before they can start practising magic. Hogwarts is such an amazing place and this fictional castle has always held a special place in my heart!
This has only strengthened my love of Harry Potter and I will be reading through the rest of the series in the next few weeks to see what else I have forgotten!!

VICTORIA & VIOLET is the first book in the Royal Maids series and what a start this is! We see Victoria in her early years, a free-spirited and strong-willed young lady. We also meet Violet, a maid in the queen's service and firmly under the thumb of her social-climbing, manipulative, abusive mother. When Violet starts her service to Victoria though, she becomes her own person - through trials and errors.

This novel is perfectly paced and full of amazing characters, brought to life by Ms. Brimble's writing style. The story is genteel, full of hope and love, and yet simultaneously shows how hard life can be in certain situations and circumstances.

Each of the characters is interesting and intriguing in their own ways - whether you like them or not! I loved the epilogue giving us an insight into how their lives are turning out, and I can't wait to read more in this series.

An excellent start and highly recommended by me.

**BOOK SYNOPSIS**
Imagine a romantic getaway in the Texas Hill Country

JJ, a cyber guru, whisks his girlfriend, Jo, away for a vacation. No paparazzi. Magnolia Bluff is the perfect destination. Flower B&B is prettier than the pictures on the website.

The evangelizing podcast creators are demanding answers about the town’s newest resident, Mateo Hernandez. The enormous wall he erected has convinced the ladies he’s hiding nefarious activities behind a dubious attorney. Local authorities don’t believe laws are broken and discount the women as meddling gossips.

When the couple checks in to Flower, the podcast show-in-progress is interrupted by a cyberattack. JJ, the techno-geek, can’t resist helping. At each subsequent event in the series, he uncovers more serious issues than cyberwarfare.

JJ and Jo can’t avoid this roving series maelstrom. It gets personal when they’re attacked and warned to leave town. No one can conceive the depth of the crimes behind Mateo’s walls.

Calandra is a powerful merfolk healer who is related to royalty, she just doesn't know how powerful she is. Zale is an attraction at a travelling show what could the two possibly have in common?

This is the first book in the rise of the Grigori series and oh my goodness what a book. I was completely captivated by it from the first page! I found myself struggling at one stage not because it's been badly written it hasn't, but I felt like I was missing out on bits of information and it was only because I was that taken with everything going on in the story I was speed reading to find out what was happening next. I was so gripped by the book that I ended up burning my dinner at one stage. There is so much love and tenderness in this tale it's warming to have it happen between 2 of the characters.

The plot is not on I would expect but I truly and thoroughly enjoyed it and I will be reading the next one in the series. I need to know what happens and how everything is going to be resolved.

Kudos to Talena. Please read I think you will enjoy the adventure

SHE'S THE ONE WHO GETS IN FIGHTS is the third book in the War Stories of the Seven Troublesome Sisters series and this time, it's Sulphur's story.

Sulphur is the one who wanted to join the Svadlu and, thanks to Coral, made it. On her own merits, she rose in the ranks and became one of the Mozdol. This put her in the uncomfortable position of various groups asking her to give them information on the other groups she was associated with. What follows is an intricate and intriguing story as Sulphur finds her own path.

I love seeing how the different sisters see and act in various situations. Seeing the same thing through different eyes gives the reader a more-rounded view of the situation and Ms. Cronin does this perfectly.

The pacing of the story was just right, the world-building was as good as ever, and the character development was spot-on. A fantastic addition to the series that I absolutely recommend. I can't wait to see who comes next!

NANNY NEGOTIATIONS is the first book in The Brotherhood: Legacy series and I now want to read ALL of the previous books in the historical series!

This one is set in Contemporary London. Aubrey needs a live-in job. Heath needs a nanny for his daughter, Eugenie, but still wants his time with her. Aubrey manages to convince Heath that a live-in nanny is best and BOOM, we're off.

I loved all three of our main characters. Eugenie, in particular, was so reminiscent of my daughters when they were that age, that I couldn't help but fall in love with her. Aubrey and Heath were brilliant together once they started communicating.

The supporting characters did their jobs amazingly well, and I loved them all. Well, all apart from the ex, of course. She was a piece of work, alright, and I've known a few people who only looked out for themselves.

Steamy in places and yet easygoing, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and have no hesitation in recommending it.

This story is mainly told from Ram's point of view, so I hope you can read 'Irish' because that is how the majority is written. You do get extra povs from Liam, Lan, Storm and Kay which was an additional bonus to the story. In my opinion, you do need to have read My Familiar Stranger for you to make the most of this story. I am glad to see that my favourite scene is still in there - toothpick, anyone?

Well-written, and packed full of emotions, events, humour and sadness, this is a fantastic addition to the Black Swan series. This story gives you an extra insight into Ram, who he is and why he acts and says the things he does. I go against the grain in that Ram isn't my favourite Knight - I know, so shoot me! - but this story does make him more likeable to me. I am really glad that I read this book, as I have thoroughly loved the whole series so far, and this just nicely rounds out the book that started it all for me. Definitely recommended.

* I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. *

THE SOLITARY PROTECTOR is the eighth book in the Etherya's Earth series and we FINALLY get more of Alrec and Kilani!!! I can't believe I've waited this whole time. And now we get their son, Leo, too. Be still my beating heart.

Addie wants to know more about her purple eyes and sets off on a journey. Along the way, she meets Leo. To say these two are opposites would be an understatement at first glance, but once you learn more about them, you realise that they are both different and the same. Delayed gratification and so much hotness! Add to that a dash of heartbreak, hard choices, and a newly-found prophecy and you've got a recipe for a 5-star read!

Another star in the crown of Etherya's Earth, I honestly love this series. The one thing I'd recommend is to read it from the beginning, just so you get the full benefit. After all, these relationships don't just happen, you know. 😉

HIGHLY recommended by me!

What Happened to Ginny?
It’s another busy summer for the Snowden Family Clambake, but Julia quickly agrees when her mother, Jacqueline, asks Julia to join her for a memorial for a friend who vanished five years ago. Since it’s been five years, Ginny has been officially declared dead. Something about her disappearance feels off to Jacqueline, so she asks Julia what she can find out. Will Julia find any answers after all this time?

As a long time reader of the series, I enjoyed that this book continued a couple of ongoing storylines. I was satisfied with how things played out in them. As always, the characters are fantastic. I was smiling within pages of starting the book at getting to spend more time with these old friends. The plot spends a little time laying a foundation before it really takes off, but I was hooked the entire time and couldn’t turn the pages fast enough by the end. We get five recipes at the end as well. This is a favorite series of mine. If you enjoy it, you’ll be thrilled with the latest entry. If you aren’t yet a fan, pick up a book today, and you’ll get hooked.
