this is another fab read from this author that you'll never want to end. i couldnt put it down till i'd got to the last page. this is the second novel in the series, which picks up straight from the epilogue of the first novel brazen. the characters are fab and mixed with the interesting story gives you an amazing book. the chemistry between the characters is hot and steamy and sets the pages alight as you read.

This s a good small town romance story. You are always in for a good read with this author. This author has a fab way of bringing you fab characters with equal amounts of laughter and tears in each story. This is a fantastic start to this new series. Fantastic characters, you will just fall in love with as you read. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

Okay, don't get me wrong. I can see what people see in this series. I don't know what I thought I'd expect considering I generally don't like fantasy, and I definitely don't like Harry Potter. It's just not my jam. In many ways, Akata Witch is very HP, just in Nigeria. In other ways, it's so steeped in African mythology, it's a true breath of fresh air from the normally very European folklore that fantasy so often draws from. It's definitely a book I'd recommend.

An overnight trip to Atlantic City brings a chance encounter between Danny and ex-girlfriend Katie. When Katie dies a few hours later, Danny and Ceepak join the efforts to find her killer. Even for a series that tends to be dark at times (at least by my standards), this one was especially grim. Still, watching the two leads interact is always a treat.

Rebecca Robbins has returned to her small home town just long enough to sell her mother's roller rink. But when the town handy man is found murdered in the women's bathroom, she realizes she needs to get his murder solved quickly since no one is interested in it. A typical cozy series debut, but I really enjoyed the characters and found the story fun.

Freelance writer Jaine Austen takes on the job of writing a love note for a desperate young man. Then the object of his desire is killed and he is accused of the crime. Can Jaine free him? This is the first in a very funny mystery series. Light and fun. If that's the kind of mystery you enjoy, this is right up your ally.

Natalie is heading to Hawaii for a friend's wedding, but unfortunately Monk tags along. When a wedding guest is murdered, Monk finds some flaws in the crime scene. Will the new horrors of the island distract him from solving the case? There are some distractions to the main mystery, but they are entertaining. This is another great read for fans of the series.

Ms. Carter did it again. I absolutely loved the Goddess Test series and I am just as excited about this one. I loved all of the plot twists in it and the characters were so easy to get attached to. I really enjoyed the little details of the book. There was so much action in this and, unlike many other Young Adult novels, there wasn't really a love triangle. Woo! I hope people will want to read this as much as I did. Great job Aimée Carter!!

I finally got around to jumping on this bandwagon, and I can say I am very glad I did. The writing may not be as pretty or elaborate as some authors have been tending towards lately, but that doesn't in any way detract from this epic tale. The characters are all engaging (if not always particularly likable), the settings always imaginative, the histories well thought out, and the plotting twisty and exciting. An excellent book that has definitely got me hooked on the series.

An expedition to track a mythological creature in British Columbia is fraught with peril before they've even reached their destination. But who is behind the danger? While I often praise the mysteries in this series, this is my favorite because of the great twists and turns. And the reprint allowed him to add one sentence that took care of a plot hole from the first edition.
