This book is simply amazing. J.R. Ward really knows how to create a series with characters that you will love. Zsadist is by far one of my favorite characters. His brokenness is beautiful in his on twisted way.

I am glad that I reread this book. It really is so beautiful and heart wrenching. I cried, I laughed, and I wanted to scream. Do yourself a favor and read this series.

Must read!
While this book is not the first in the series ( you read 10 books before getting to this one) it will always be my favorite. Every book in the two series before this and the two prequels are amazing but this one is my favorite just because of the fact that I love Belgarath. He's just so entertaining and funny. Very enjoyable read!!

This was a very well written book. I loved how the story was told in a series of letters written to her friend who had moved away. The relationships that develop are great. I am looking forward to reading the next book.

Captivating
I love this series. Any time I can lose myself in a book and have the outside world melt away while a story is projected in my head via an amazing author, I'm sold and this book definitely filled that criteria.

This is my favorite book in the series. There's so much going on and it's so engaging, I think this book has so much more action and emotion than the first. Also the ending is so good.

Do not read this book!
This is the first book in the series, it is fun and clever but if you like happy endings look away now. The characters are engaging and Count Olaf is one of the best villians of all time.
