Great Start to the Series
A Court of Thorns and Roses was just a sea of feels. It took me a while to pick this up, because I'm in love with Sarah J Maas' other series, Throne of Glass, and was scared I was going to be disappointed. I was wrong. This book is a story retelling of Beauty and the Beast, but SJM just takes it to a whole other level. This book will keep you on the end of your seat, as you fall in love with the characters and the world. This is such a fantastic first book to this series, and it honestly just gets better from here on out! Definitely pick up this book if you haven't already!

This book is a good lighthearted read. It is a complete story, however it is the first in quite a long series so there are still quite a few unanswered storylines at the end of the book.

The character development is slow, and some characters we don’t see enough of. I got the first 3 books as a bundle, so I think that is part of why I read this series as I’m not sure just one book would have got me hooked.

I did enjoy this book and getting to know Lucy and uncover the secrets as Amaris. I recommend this book if you are looking for an easy fun read.

My favorite book EVER!
This book made me extremely emotional and I absolutely love it. I still re-read whenever I can't find anything new to read. Feyre has changed due to the challenges she faced in the previous book, ACOTAR. This book is the story of her epic love, new cities, sisterly challenges, finding herself, and comparing wingspans (?). I highly recommend this series! ❤❤❤

Perfect balance between magic and CSI
This book was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. The author was amazing at getting you to go through all the feelings of the main character PC Grant throughout the book. It took me two days to get through this book.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and am itching to go and buy the next in the series.
