this is a good cowboy romance story. The male character is just so sweet, you will definitely melt as you read. This book can be read as a stand alone or as part of the series. This is the perfect book for the winter months, with sexy cowboys to keep you reading long into the night and beyond. I cant wait to read more in this series and by this author in the future.

In the (unfortunately) final book of the Alcatraz Smedry series, Alcatraz is off to Mokia to try to keep the librarians from adding that kingdom to the Hushlands. Along the way, he gets a few surprises about his family and his talent. Fans of the series will love this latest adventure. It's filled with humor and action like all the others. Unfortunately, it also sets things up for a final book, which doesn't seem to be happening.

As the world reels from a bunch of natural disasters, Grant Borrows and his super powered friends become heroes. But have they escaped the plans of the Secretem? This is the second book in a Christian fantasy series. While I loved the first, this one fell too much into middle book syndrome. The first half was slow, but the second half really picked up. Definitely read this series in order.

Ok, on occasion these books can get a bit repetitive. However, there is a larger story arc that encompasses the series. Even though you could probably read the individual books early in the series in almost any order. This is a bridge book. Which for me is strange in the third book instead of the second. It bridges the beginning books to the over all arc. It is a reactionary book where the main character reacts to the bad guys instead of plans ahead or has time to change the gut reaction.

Surprise
I picked up this book knowing that the series was starting on Netflix. I did not expect to be sucked in and unable to put the book down until I finished three days later nor did I expect to then go out and purchase the rest of the series based solely on the stories and writing of the first book. it is a relatively easy read but still full of interesting characters and stories and I'm looking forward to seeing them fleshed out further.

Great series
I have been looking for a series that touched that part of me that fell in love with Anita Blake without all the sex scenes and I found that with this series! Jane is a strong female character that kicks butt and asks questions later! This book has her as rogue vampire hunter that takes on a job working for the very species she hunts!

Well first I have to say that there is obviously going to be another book in the series. And if there's not then there's a problem. I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first couple. The middle was slow. In fact I didn't think the story really got interesting until the last quarter of the book.

Wendy Higgins delivered another great book again! Well written, full of action and suspense, great plot and characters. Definitely a page turner I was engrossed from page 1. I loved Amber and Remy's Povs and the differences in their situations. Overall a great book. Highly recommended series! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

This was an okay book. There wasn't anything particularly amazing about the book. I did like the concept of Angels and thought that it was unique.

The book definitely needed to be edited more. There were a few mistakes and misprints. All in all it kept me entertained but I doubt I will continue on in the series.
