My April 2023 reads!

13 not a good month I’ve struggled to read again which is not good when you have a tbr like mine 😂😂.
Although those I have read I’ve enjoyed! I have ended some of series I’ve been reading as they just started to bore me.

5 DNFS

My favourite book of the month is The Familiars by Stacey Halls!
I would have picked Throne of Glass but as this is a reread for me I decided to pick a book I haven’t read.

My least favourite is The Redemed by Matthew Hall this was a slippery slope and I had to DNF the next one in the series as I just got bored of it.

My DNFS were not as high this month I just couldn’t get on with so many and I’m a great believer in not reading something just for the sake of it.

hilarious and cute, and who doesn't love a shifter romance book...........

A girl with attitude, lots of attitude ............and the dialogue is just so entertaining, I read the series a while back and re-read this for a challenge this month and just, forgot how entertaining this series was, and perhaps I should re-read the whole series instead of just part!

DNF 1

I had a huge 5 ⭐️ reads this month and I loved each one but my absolute favourite was The Empire of the Vampires that book was just epic!! Also if you love zombie and a good giggle definitely go for Death in a Northern town just so good!!

My best #fromabox book was The Doll Funeral it was honestly so good.

My DNF was well justified the author is always hot and miss and this time he missed it big his whole attitude was just so bad!

The other book that I was looking forward to but was a little disappointed in was Ariadne it was good but I fell for the hype and expected more 🙈

So, the newly refurbished cinema in Londons Leicester Square is causing a bit of a stir online for their ticket pricing. Here's how much it would cost you per ticket if you want to book for Mary Poppins Returns later this month. What does everyone think?

Wow that is absolutely exorbitant. I thought standard cinema tickets at £10 were pricey enough!

That’s unbeliveable surely no one will go!! I was shocked the other day when we went and reduced tickets were still £8 something.

So my absolute favourite has to be Reds Robin I’m not usually a mega fan of smutty books but this one drew me in!
The book that surprised me most was The Weight of Him it was such an emotional journey.
My worst was my DNF Dark and Dangerous it just didn’t appeal although I really tried!

So many good books I’ve had a good month!
