It's the beginning of summer, and things are hoping in Pickax County. They are breaking ground for a new bookstore and the town of Brrr is celebrating 200 years. Oh yeah, and a body is found on Qwill's property. But since none of the characters seem to care about that, the mystery kind of whimpers along. If you love the characters, you'll enjoy the book, but there's hardly any plot. Par for the course for the later books of the series.

Piggie is invited to her very first party, and Gerald says he knows all about parties. But are his ideas right or not?

This is another fun and funny book in Mo’s Elephant and Piggie series. Things just get crazier as they go along until we hit the perfect ending. Once again, the words are easy to sound out and the illustrations add much to the humor of the story. Great for reading and rereading.

Every once in a while, I become completely obsessed with certain genres. So basically, every time a new Jo Nesbo book comes out, I go on my Scandinavian crime fiction reading rampage. Nesbo recommends Fossum, and Fossum is considered the Queen in Norwegian crime fiction. So, naturally, I started with book 1 in her Inspector Sejer series, Eva's Eye. I believe it's been published under a different title in the States.
Overall, it was a good read. It wasn't necessarily easy to figure out, but maybe it was just me being slow. It was a quick read, and a good introduction to Sejer.

I love this series so much - I think toward the end of this book I got a bit emotional - like, this one was perhaps even better than Illuminae and it was amazing and sad and great all in one - I cant wait to read obsidio now .. I heard it gets even more emotional. I loved the drawings in this one - like they were on point, I know she does her journals and it was cool to see the pages - kind of want to rip some out and hang them on my wall.. book abuse for sure

This was definitely a smooth read - I read it mainly so I could see the movie and I'm pumped about movie though I'm pretty sure it wont be the same. I had issues with some of the context - I get Rihannon had issues with things but she was a rude rudeeeeeeee one at some parts. And the part before the very end was great and sweet, though I was a bit upset by the end, ABRUPT much - then I saw it was a series - I have no intention of reading book 2 but I am excited for book 3 to come out.

Due to my lack of participation in the dating world, my father decided to purchase this book for me to give me some pointers. Now THIS was hilarious!
Done in the style of the all popular 'LadyBird Book Of' series complete with the traditional artwork and a dash of British humour this is definitely one to pick up. It goes through what you should expect from dating in this day and age in a very honest manner, which is just perfect. It's in your face, it's raw and it's guaranteed to give you a giggle.

Loved it, loved it, loved it!

What a fantastic first book in a new series - murder, suspense, action, intrigue, twists and turns aplenty and with the fantastic characters, perfect pace and gripping story line, this makes for one excellent book.

Highly recommended and I can't wait for the next one to see how Con develops and what she gets up to next.

Did I say I loved it?!?

Many thanks to the publisher, Wildfire (a part of the Headline Division of Hachette UK) via NetGalley for my copy in return for an unbiased review.

Couldent put it down
From the minute i picked up this book i couldent put it down. I read it in one night and immediately bought the next in the series. Reading it from the perspective of the victim and agents draws you into the story completely. The twists and turns it takes you on leaves you almost rushing to finish a page so you can see what happens next. A brilliant thriller type novel that has been the first book in a long time to grip me from the first page to the last.

A rabbit hole you must fall into
A friend sent me this book and from the first page I was captured.
It’s a spider web of characters that I want to follow.
It’s a world that invited me in and I’m hoping to stay permanently.
The plot weaves a tantalising invitation that begs you to stay within its pages.
People aren’t who they seem and things aren’t what they seem.
Ink is an unsung masterpiece
I couldn’t love it more

Well I have always had a soft spot for Terry Pratchett book and his stories about the discworld transport you to this amazing place.
He has a dark sense of humour that you can see throughout his books.
Wyrd sisters is one of my favourites of his Books. This is the first in a series of his books about three witches. It's funny right from the start and the complexity of his characters always amaze me.
If you like a book with good characters, funny jokes and a touch of magic then this is the books for you.
