Book Favorite

"The most detailed and fascinating book about a recording engineer who worked on some of my favorite records. I wish there were more music books as good as this. Even though it seems impossible to know the final two Talk Talk albums and Mark Hollis’ solo album better than by listening to their murky, beautiful, sparse sound worlds, this series of first-hand accounts of the sessions —and those for Nilsson, Bob Marley and others—is incredibly illuminating."

Ooooooh!! What an ending!

Sarren, I hope they kick your arse all the way to hell and back when they finally catch up with you!

As for the everyone else. Allie, nice to have you back. Jackal, I would never have guessed. Kanin, good to see you, too. Zeke, you poor, poor, human. And Stick, you were just an arse!

It was certainly an adventure. A compelling one at that! Looking forward to the next book in the series.

It took me a bit of getting into but once I did, I more or less devoured it.

I'll admit some bits were a bit predictable after a while (the bad guy) and some characters were just plain annoying (Korbie!!!!) but I did enjoy it.

My heart was pounding the more of the book I read and I was fairly happy with the ending.

It's different from the author's Hush, Hush series but I liked that.

It's been about 2 years since i read the first book and this has been on my to-read list since so when i was given a 2 month kindle unlimited subscription for nothing--Thanks Amazon--i had to get this. Only I'd forgotten pretty much everything that had gone on

I am very intrigued by the Bo and Michael relationship progression and the Midici issue so i am sure I'll be reading the rest of the series soon.

Hmm...well I like the idea of a reverse harem book and I did enjoy how protective of her they were but I didn't really get the rest of it. Near the end I was reading it and kept saying to myself: what is happening? They seemed to be coming together to go against Lucifer but then nothing actually ended up happening at the end when he showed. Confused...

I don't think I'll be continuing the series.

Dark and funny
Found this book as a fluke and I've loved the series ever since, yes some of the themes can be quite dark but the characters are fantastic and really got involved with them, they also lighten the tone a little from really dark bits. Doesn't always paint a great picture of Scottish people but I enjoy reading it and laughing at parts which are actually how people are in real life
