picked this movie up at for $2. The story line was not the greatest (2/5) but what got me to enjoy this movie was the sets and how the story was told. It was like watching a comic book like sin city with some cirque du soleil mixed in. So for style i give it 4/5.
If you watch this movie i suggest you do it for the style not the story line.

This movie has done a wonderful job of staying close to its comic book roots. The visual effects are beautiful and believable. The storyline keeps it moving with a surprise near the end. Jason Momoa is absolutely perfect for this tough guy , coming of age, softie character. He knows what's important and fights to protect it. My 13 year old son who says he " HATES SUPERHEROES " loved this is movie.

I grew up on the movie and I always loved it so much so when I finally got around to reading the book my hopes were really high and while the two are pretty much the exact same except certain characters changing and the group not being as big the changes were minimal but I still just loved the movie more. Shocking trust me I know. The movie which is animated is just so full of color and life and wad always just so much fun to watch that it kind of hid the fact that the story is actually incredibly educational. But for me the book just didn't get to that level and did feel a little more along the lines like a history lesson.

Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons - The Movie (2020)
2020 | Action, Adventure, Animation
Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons bring us a look at a backstory of this rather complicated and probably one of DC’s most controversial characters and DC Animated Movies has certainly brought a real comic book feeling to the movie, there are several scenes that the colouring has a “crosshatch” look to it that keeps our feet firmly on the comic book ground.

Story-wise the movie moves along nicely to keep you watching as Slade Wilson (Deathstroke) kick backsides in an action-packed animated movie, Sung Jin Ahn (Niko and the Sword of Light) directs the film from a script by J.M. DeMatteis (Superman: Red Son, Batman: Bad Blood). Sam Register, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter serve as executive producers.

Now I have to say that I’ve been looking forward to seeing The Meg ever since I first saw the trailer a while back and at the time I had no idea that the movie was based on a series of books by Steve Alten, with this movie based on the first book, “MEG: A Novel of Deep Terror“, suffice to say I’ll be grabbing some of them to read very soon. Shark movies have become a little stale of the last few years and to be honest they have never thrilled me as much as Jaws, but The Meg certainly adds a whole new twist to the shark movie.

There was an awful movie adaption that did not do the book justice (0 more)
Loved this book growing up. Well written and different, your pulled into a world of imagination where any story can come to life with just a few well spoken words. Who doesn't read a book and wish they couldn't be part of it, this story runs with that idea, showing that just because the book ends doesn't mean the story does.

Well, I have finally read a Chuck Palahniuk book and I definitely enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed the movie so naturally I decided to read the book. I wish that I would have read the book first though. I would have loved to experience the twist as a reader and not just a film watcher.

The characters are very interesting and the writing was solid. This isn't my normal type of book but I did enjoy it. Chuck Palahniuk has a way of messing with your head and it shows in this book. It was a fun psychological thriller and I look forward to reading more of his novels.

If you're a fan of the book, this may have too many (unnecessary) changes.
I love Tim Burton but I feel like he's been in too much of a rut with his last couple movies and I think that can be felt in this movie. Additionally, I don't feel the changes that were made to the story actually made the film any better. If you're a big fan of the book like I am and you haven't seen this yet, set your expectations a little lower and maybe you'll enjoy it more than I did.

better than the book

Edward is an abusive jerk (stalking, controlling, literally saying he is trying not to kill her) and relationships should not be like this. It is movies and books like this that teach young girls that it is ok to be treated this way and they end up being hurt mentally or physically. That being said this is the only movie I have seen that was done better than the book. In the book Bella's relationship with Jacob begins on a beach when she fake flirts with him to get information on Edward, she then continues to string him along even though she does no like him, this is not ok! In the movie however he just happens to like her and she seems to show interest back creating an actual love triangle situation.
