Great book and story. I love the characters and getting to know more about thier backgrounds. This book does reference the other five books in the universe, including some spoiliers, it gives enough to let you know you need read them, but you won't be lost if you haven't yet. If you have read them, you are in for a treat and like me probably will long for the next book. Told through multiple pov king of scars will take you on a journey, of loss, love responsibility, keeping a crumbling kingdom together as it comes apart at the seams, and hope through the darkest times. How bad can it get when you're a boy king fighting a deamon? plenty... It's Ravka

I got this book from the author for a honest review. I am not a big fan of zombie books and honestly this one isn't a lot different for me except that the characters and plot of the book were better then most...I still didnt like the whole zombie eating people thing etc...but honestly I did enjoy the story..there was more to the zombies then just eating people and wasn't a bad story. I would def recommend this story to those who enjoy zombies especially and for those who might be interested in trying a new zombie book just to try one this would be a good one to start with. I am thinking about reading the next book when it comes out. :)

Lauren Carr has brought you another thriller of a story. A Fine Year for Murder is a doozy of a mystery and gut wrenching. No has any ideas that Jessica as seen a family be murdered. When Dallas Walker start talking about a case that see is investing the case called Pine Creek Massacre.

I loved the story and the way it was laid out. Jessica is dealing with nightmares, and things get more intense when something happens to young girls. What is triggering her nightmares? It a book you can not put down once you start to read it. All of Lauren Carr books are like that. She makes you want more and leaves to read her next book.

Death Logs In I really enjoyed this book. It the second in series. I really do not really go for these kinds of books. This one had me a after a few chapters. It was got some twist and turns. Alex is back and better. Alex helps his brother Michael out. Micheal deals with all kinds of thing that are going on. He does thing that his brother would have done if were alive.

Is Alex  alive and hiding somewhere or is he dead? Though Michael and Donna get some shocking news about Alex. Sindy enter Michael life. Thing are just get more interesting with all the things going on. Does Michael save his marriage? Alex is getting more information can he help Michael?

When a bank repossessed all the buildings in Caerphilly, the town clerk boarded himself in the town hall basement. Now Meg, her family, and the rest of the town are smuggling supplies to him. But when a body turns up just outside his barricade, the jig may be up. Can Meg find the killer without giving away the secret? I love these characters, and I will never complaint about spending time with them. However, I felt the plot could have used more twists or something. And these books have lost some of their humor. Still, fans of the series will enjoy this one.

The Hardys are dealing with two cases. While their father works on sabotage at a local security station, Frank and Joe head to a college to try to find a missing professor. But the trail leads them to some caves south of Bayport. What exactly will they find there?

This was actually the first Hardy Boys books I picked up many years ago, and it was fun to revisit. I didn’t remember much about the mystery, so it kept me guessing until the end. I did find the ending very rushed and the characters flat, but I still had fun revisiting them.

This mystery is somewhat fun to read about. There a mystery that keep you interested in the book. I wonder what is to happen for this couple and family. Who is behind the attacks? Why would they want to attack. Will Elli or even Nathan going to solve this. So far this book has me want get the other books in the series. My first reaction is good so far. I would rate this 4 stars or 4 Rats in my case. I would recommend the author Colleen Coble to others if they asked. I want you to decide if this for you or anyone else to read. Just because I liked it does not mean that you like it. It is up to you.

My son really enjoyed it and asked me to read it as well., I was not as impressed as he was. Feels like a mix of Hunger Games and Divergent, with a few other dystopian ideas tossed into a blender and mashed up to create a new world. It wasn't horrible, but not what I would consider a great book. I will give it points that the end did leave you wanting to know what happens next, so made me want to move on to the next in the series. I will give it brownie points for capturing my son's attention. He is very picky about books, and mainly chooses non-fiction, so any fiction book that captures him deserves some credit.

This book was very fast paced, with a good grounding in the weird and wonderful Farie world (0 more)
I was bit disappointed that there was not a lot of investigating and this is sold as a book about a private investigator (0 more)
Great Introduction
I think Laurell K Hamilton is a marmite author you either love her or books or you dont. I am a hughe Anita Blake fan and was worried and this world would not live up to my expectations and it did. There are a number of uncomfortable scenes so if you a squeamish Maybe give it a miss. Overall I fell in love with characters and their world and can’t wait to start the next in the series

Well, I did it. I finally finished this book. Honestly, I wasn't sure that I was going to like this book. I have never read anything by the author but the name and description caught my attention.

I really liked the dry humor in this book. I could truly relate to the author and I enjoyed learning about all of the details that have happened in the author's life. I will admit, I think I would have liked this book better if I have read some of his other books first but this truly was enjoyable.

The details and descriptions in this book were hilarious and definitely dark and a little twisty. If you want a fun autobiography, this is something to pick up.
