This is a light-hearted story about magic with a side interest of romance. The story and relationships in the book flow very naturally but don't expect everything to be straightforward! There are some twists and turns in this book, some that are explained and some that aren't. This book drew me in from the start and the time passed very quickly whilst I was reading it. Very enjoyable both as Young Adult and as a Paranormal. Further books in this series are now on my wish list.

A great book for the start out bookworm and it's a classic for pretty much about anyone who's interested in witches, wizards, sorcerers and (most importantly) magic. A book with twists and turns that you can't put down. A fantastic novel. (0 more)
A whirlwind of mystery...
This book was one of my first ever books to join in my collection. An absolute delight to read and a fantastic fire starter to anyone who wishes to indulge in books more. J.K. Rowling makes sure to immerse you in a world which is parallel to our own and describes it so perfectly that it's been fuelling people's imaginations for years. A definite read for just about anyone, whether you're a bookworm or not you'll enjoy this!

Brotherly Love...to another level!
I love books based in different countries other than the UK or the US. Reason being a good book helps you explore these new destinations and learn about different cultures and traditions.

I love reading books based in India. Maybe it is because I am Indian but I love learning about the country my family immigrated from. India is where my roots are and it's a completely different world.

The lowland is based in Kolkata or Calcutta as it was called back then. Although that is not part of the India I am from, it is very interesting how there are so many different traditions in the same country.

Good concept about the future of the human race (0 more)
Where are we from and where are we going?
I first read Dan Brown back in the hyped up days of the Da Vinci Code. Having loved that, I read the rest of his books and even purchased his last book. So when I saw he had a new book out, I had to try it. Dan Brown continues to write in the same easy reading style of previous books. The concept of where we are from and where we are going really intrigued me. I won't spoil the book by telling you where he thinks the human race are going but I liked the concept and could see quite easily how it is possible
If you liked his previous books and like Professor Langdon, I'd recommend this to you.
