Amazing !!

In this book Carol Totally redeems King Benjamin! She gives him a match to make him think about the right priorities we need in life. He also meets a man named the wheelchair preacher, who hleps him to see out side himself. The Indentured Queen is one of my favorite heroine's so far. Can't wait for more books from Carol :)

This was a fun read !
I totally enjoyed reading this book over Christmas this year. I loved getting to learn more about the pony express and a certain girl :) plus I really enjoyed the way Kimberley Woodhouse worked in the story of Daniel as well. A very well done book and I look forward to reading more books by this author.

A story about being reunited with family and overcoming things together.
I thought this book was pretty great, not my favorite book by Denise Hunter as I felt it a bit more dramatic than need be (which is unusual for Denise Hunters Books). But overall it was a great summer read and I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Reading the second book I realized these were stand-alone books which makes it easier if you have a later book. Frankie's diary, like Draculaura's, was a fun ride and I enjoyed learning more about one of the more minor characters, Isi. Frankie, as always is full of energy which is contrasted by Isi's quieter personality. Again, it was overall good, quick read.

"“This French writer was new to me; I found his novel in a hurry at the airport. It’s very funny, full of insight on being arrogant and getting old, and on being a servant who is generous of spirit. Humility, grumpiness, some tender love, and brutal violence. I will now investigate all of Garnier’s other books — there are about 60!”"

"When I grew a little older my father read me the murder scene in this book and said: This is what violent literature should be like, son. He was right. This is one of the most influential books I’ve read and it affected the writing of my own book. My father gave me a very special feeling about written words"

I don't usually read children's books but this one was written by friends of a good friend of mine. And who wouldn't want to read a beautifully illustrated book about a mouse detective that is hunting for lost notes written by Mozart? 3.75 stars. I'm finding these books are getting better with each one.

I liked this one, seeing Cage find the girl who would tame his wild ways after reading about his shenanigans in the previous book. I also liked Eva, though I didn't entirely feel her at the beginning. She grew on me.

On to Preston and Manda's story next.
