Here's my disclaimer: I seem to rate audiobooks harsher than print books. I guess it's because I'm not as focused. I'm not sure why. Anyway, on to my review.
I've read a few other of Lisa Scottoline's books, so I thought I'd give One Perfect Lie a chance. I will say that the title really does fit with what the book's about.
I went into this book expecting something more sinister when it came to Chris, but what I got was something totally different! I won't go into details because of spoilers. I will say that the whole government angle kind of put me off the story, but I continued since I was already invested in this audiobook. I think others would enjoy the story very much, but these government type books aren't really my thing. I wish I had known it was more a government type book before I started listening to it. I will say that this book has some great plot twists, and it does answer all questions before ending.
The characters are done well and are interesting enough. I feel they are fleshed out to be believable. I kept hoping that Heather and Chris would end up together throughout the book. They seemed like they'd make a great couple!
As for the narrator, he did an okay job. The heavy breathes he would sometimes take were somewhat annoying, and sometimes his Russian accent would falter.
Overall, One Perfect Lie by Lisa Scottoline is just an alright read. There's nothing that special about it, but it'll help pass the time. I'd recommend it to those who are into big government plot books.

Superb Enticing
Jacqueline Carey gives us an exceptional series and is a gifted author . When one reads the Kushiels series the descriptive writing has you feeling like you are there with the characters. You see the green mountainsides and feel the dry desert heat. This is an enjoyable historical fiction book with a lot of sexuality: about a different culture. The series of books has depth and character development with a wonderful historical fiction background.

There is a lot to say about this book, but I don't like giving spoilers. I will say that it is in my top ten favorite books of all time.
It gives you a disturbing sense of being both a child and an adult at the same time, equally amazed and horrified by events taking place. It makes you miss a place you've never been, while being worried you might have to go one day.

I enjoyed this book more than I have any other books recently. The characters really stayed with me and I cared deeply for the kids. It’s a bit predictable and formulaic, but I don’t tend to mind that in general. I enjoyed Rill’s story more than Avery’s but I liked how it came together in the end. I also loved the message about the importance of family, both born and made.
This is a must read for any Gilmore Girls fan. Lauren Graham makes you laugh, cry, and laugh/sob at the same time. This book is hilarious and it definitely makes you appreciate the entire cast of Gilmore Girls.
This books tells you all about Lauren Graham's struggles. I do wish that I would have gotten more of the struggles she has experienced but all in all, this was a great book.

I LOVE this.
I got it in a Goodreads giveaway, was really looking forward to this one, and it did not disappoint.
A charming story about Pug's adventure, a fun plotline with great humour, and surrounded with wonderful illustrations.
Now to pass on to my 9 and 7 yr old as I know they will like the story, and could easily read it by themselves.
I'll be looking out for future books.

Saga is amazing! (I hate using that word, but it is.) The action continually moves, and there is both war and love. The books seem thin, but there is so much packed into each volume that you feel satisfied, yet still hungry after reading one. In volume three, the different characters begin to cross paths. If you're still on the fence about picking this series up, it's time to stop debating. Read this!

Another accessible, well-written, clear book from John Ashdown-Hill which sets out to myth-bust everything you think you knew about the 'Princes in the Tower' - including why that title is a misnomer. Felt a little sad as John passed away earlier this year (2018) as I looked forward to each contribution he made to this period of history. I will certainly re-read his books with pleasure - thank you John.

Book 2 in the Steele Brothers Series - I am really torn about this series. I love the characters and the plot is really interesting, it has me hooked which is why I am still going, but seriously.... the sex scenes are so bad!!! If these were deleted or re-written then I would have given these books a much better review!
