Gray noise. In a sort of interesting way.
Not quite white noise, but the whole thing is literally processed feedback. I had the brilliant idea to put this onto sleep to. I had really vivid nightmares that were actually pretty inspiring. May have use as background noise or to sleep to if you have a creative block.

My kind of hilarious, honest travel guide
Bill Bryson's journey through the US is laugh out loud hilarious. His quick wit, extremely dry sarcasm and general shock of travelling around North America is exactly what every travel guide should say. He's scathing about his outlook for good reasons, at the same time he still loves his home. Brilliant read.

Captures Seemingly Indescribable Emotion
Milan Kundara does a brilliant job capturing the complexity of relationships and the connections we have with other people. Among tacit emotions, he is able to use words to convey characters' complicated feelings in such a way that they evoke real emotion in the reader.

Happy Endings by Old Dominion
Happy Endings by Old Dominion
2017 | Country
The music is smarter and hotter than the lyrics on Happy Endings, though the latter have the odd genius metaphor, too. Even as an anthropological exercise in redneck seduction, this is a fascinating album — maybe not brilliant, but fascinating

Yet another fabulous story. With the kidnapping of Jacqueline before her ceremony and Fane and the other wolves racing to save her, you experience this tales from two completely different angles and areas.

The heart warming connection that comes with their bonding and the resulting revolution of Jen's heritage creates a brilliant end before their journey to Romania.

The Matrix (1999)
The Matrix (1999)
1999 | Action, Sci-Fi
A complete game changer upon it's 1999 release, the beauty about this thick slice of action is that it can be watched on a superficial level as a brilliant Sci Fi movie, however their are much deeper themes at play here about religion and Existentialism to name a few, an entertaining a deeply absorbing thrill ride!

Firstly, that continuous shot at Dunkirk beach is fantastic. I love everything Keira Knightly is in, and her and James McAvoy are perfect together (that library scene...). The acting is brilliant, and the story is so good on film (book-not so much).
This film always makes me cry, it softens my little stone, black heart.
