Let's get ready to ruuuumble
What a line up of superheroes! Great film with amazing action scenes. Feels just like another Avengers film with some new characters introduced. The plot is a bit silly with the idea the team is divided over political issues and willing to fight each other. However it makes for a great superhero mash up.

Surprisingly un-put down able
I picked up this book because it was buy one get one half price, and I wasn't by sure initially. When I started reading this book though, I was fully invested, needing to learn more about Feyre, Tamlin and the Spring Court. Even in this fantastical setting, everything that happened was believable.

Kitano Gold
Takeshi Kitano stars, writes, directs and even produced some pretty original pieces of artwork for this film. To say that Kitano show us some films etc acting in this flick would be a understatement. This is a deep, dark, and at times emotional film with a little Kitano comedy mixed in. It also has a brilliant soundtrack to go with.

Apes Together Strong
This was one of my most anticipated movies of this year and it was great. It wasn't as good as Dawn, but it still delivered a satisfying conclusion to a fantastic rebooted trilogy.
The performances are great, the CGI is mind-blowingly realistic and Matt Reeves direction is brilliant.
For my money, these 3 movies are the best reboots ever made.

Complex classic film noir style
This is a classic. Most people will probably know the Humphrey Bogart big screen version but Raymond Chandler was clearly the original. Gritty, dark and twisted - unusual for its time - he broke boundaries with some of the themes described. As brilliant as it is written, the plot at times gets too complicated and if you're not concentrating, you'll end up missing important clues.

Damn...
Jason Bateman is just one of those actors I really enjoy watching and Ozark really shows him at his best. The show is a drama filled rollercoaster with a truly amazing cast. Well there are a few dragging bits to it I never found it all that hard to power through.

Excellent Fantasy Series
I love Robin Hobb's books because they are all amazing. The Assassin's Apprentice is the first book in The Farseer trilogy and it's an excellent series. This is the book that starts it all and it is interesting with complex characters and wonderful storytelling. It's an excellent fantasy series and she has later books that involve more adventures with Fitz and the Fool that are equally brilliant.

Brilliant
This was a recommendation from a work colleague and I cannot thank him more, as this was my favourite read of 2016. Brilliantly written, with a fantastic and engrossing story with a sci-fi-esque spin. I couldn't put this down. It moves seamlessly from a drama to an action/spy novel and Harry is a loveable protaganist. My only negative would be that I didn't want it to end!

Deserving Best Picture Winner
I'm so happy that this film won the Best Picture Oscar, it is by the far the best film I saw in 2015 and deserves every accolade thrown at it. It has a fantastic ensemble cast, and despite the sombre and depressing subject matter, still comes across as an excellent film. It might be difficult to watch, but it's a brilliant telling of a true story.
