Director Darren Aronofsky is one of my favorite directors working today. His films are amazing, creative, not for everyone, detailed, vague, controversial, stunning, inventive, visually stunning, emotional and brilliant.

This list happens to also include my favorite film of all time.

Which is your favorite?

Brilliant series!! Based on Bernard Cornell's books "The saxon stories". Full of action as well as great stories including romance to bring you closer to the characters. Set in the 800s at the time of king Alfred (the great) and is very interesting from a historical point of view. There are Anglo-Saxons, Danes, Britons and even talk of scots. There's no obvious good guys or bad guys either and there are many twists and turns. Definitely gives of game of throne vibes. Would highly recommend!

Utopia for Realist's
To Bregman a utopia is a place where everyone is doing ok and is happy. He uses science of economics and sociology to demonstrate how easy it is to reach as well. It's looking at new solutions to old problems. He's still a capitalist but he believes by helping the poor not be the poor, capitalism will do very well for itself. Very interesting, exceptionally east to read and brilliant book.

Do you believe
Someone bought me this and told me to read it, not sure of what to expect soI did. I loved it. My heart still aches for this women. What things to go through but as a medium and having that gift she must be close to spiritual enlightenment where you are meant to suffer. Brilliant autobiography but sadly further proof there are an enourmous amount of vile men out there.

Intense thriller!
Good quality film.

This main character in this movie couldn't have been any better, brilliant actress playing the role of an innocent women being tormented by her obsessive ex.

A good few jumpy parts, the amount of times I said something so loud forgetting I was in the cinema was just embarrassing, so many scenes I didn't expect to happen the way they did, some of my friends weren't overly impressed but I thought every character really built the feel for this film.

Highly recommended.

Ari Aster had me hooked with Hereditary and then blew it at the end.
This time no such mistakes. Stunning. Stunning. Stunning.
Day time horror with no where to hide and no shadows to cover, you see EVERYTHING even if you dont want to. Utterly brilliant and a worthy Wicker Man rival. No, hang on it's better than the Wicker Man and probably the best horror film since The Shining!
That about covers it
