CREEP is the second book in the Vulture Hollow MC series. I haven't read book one, but didn't feel as though this negatively impacted my enjoyment of Creep and Angel's story. Because enjoy it, I did!
Creep is the loner, always on the fringes, with hurt from a traumatic past to spare. Angel is the social sunshine, who loves being around people, and who offers Creep comfort. Now, it's not plain sailing as there are more than a few miscommunications along the way, but they are completely understandable ones and quickly dealt with. Out of the two, I actually preferred Creep, so I'm not sure what that says about me!
This is a dark and emotional book, told from both their perspectives, and yet it is also hopeful, and in places, lighthearted too. Definitely not a one-size-fits-all situation. I thought the pacing was perfect for their story, slow at times of connection, but speeding up when action happens. And trust me, action happens! Some of it is off-the-charts hot, so be prepared if you're reading this in public.
Although I didn't feel as though I missed out on anything, I do want to read book one and any other book that might follow in this series. Absolutely brilliant read and definitely recommended by me.

THE KRAMPUS'S FIRST CHRISTMAS GIFT is the sixth novel in the MM Monster Christmas series, and finishes off the series (I think!).
This is also the one where we find out just what happened to Jasper, and what his mysterious illness is all about. If you've read the prior books, you know Jasper had a fall in the forest and never fully recovered. You find out snippets in both Leo's and Trent's stories, but now you actually get all of it.
You might think, because of the title, that this might be scary or frightening, but what you get is a touch-starved black sheep of the family with a heart of gold. I loved Kraghol from the very beginning, but hearing about his family life and upbringing about broke my heart. I loved how Jasper made no judgments and fought for what-or rather, who-he wanted, right up until he didn't. That was the right thing in my opinion, and I loved how the story continued after that.
Trent's story will always be my favourite out of the bunch, but this one comes a close second. A brilliant story that I read in one sitting, that held my attention from beginning to end. A great series that I definitely recommend.

COURTING THE DRAGON LORD is the introductory story to the Royal Arrangement series. We learn that the nations have been at war for decades and now they have agreed to a peace treaty, solidified by marriages between the nations. This one is with Prince Ash of Botanial and Lord Barrett of Draconia.
Ash has always played second fiddle to his older brother and when he finds out there is a contest for Florian's hand, that just confirms it, especially when he thinks the man he is interested in has competed to win Florian's hand. But Barrett has met Ash already and is interested in him, not Florian. With a twist of insecurity though, Barrett thinks Ash wants Luther.
This was a quick and easy read, full of brilliant descriptions. Both MCs are cinnamon rolls who are insecure but it works for them. They both have a partner who loves and adores them, and who doesn't want that! The pacing is smooth and the world-building is enough for this story so you're not completely lost.
A great start to the series and definitely recommended by me. I can't wait to read more in this story and, although I don't wish the kingship on Ash, I really hope Florian gets his comeuppance! He really was a repugnant character in every way!

LUSTFUL NIGHTS is the first book in the Peaches series and features Lennox and Jensen, plus a whole host of other brilliant characters.
Lennox has gone back to school to get his nursing degree. To support that, he works at Peaches as a dancer a few nights a week. Jensen is Lennox's big brother, Nick's, best friend who gets the shock of a lifetime when he sees Lennox dance, especially because it wakes something up inside him.
This is a fun and sassy low angst story between the two of them. The angst comes into how they tell Nick about their relationship. Lennox has had a bad run of relationships in the past, so his friends are concerned when they find out he's dating someone secretly. Jensen, however, is a cutie-patootie who goes full steam ahead for what, or who, he wants. The thing I loved the most is that although the steam comes off the page for these two, you also get the emotional connection. Jensen is everything Lennox needs, and vice versa.
The pacing is very smooth and all the characters are brilliantly written. It is Preston's turn next and I can't wait to see what happens with him. I really hope Jonas plays a part. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me and I can't wait to read more.

Lennox has gone back to school to get his nursing degree. To support that, he works at Peaches as a dancer a few nights a week. Jensen is Lennox's big brother, Nick's, best friend who gets the shock of a lifetime when he sees Lennox dance, especially because it wakes something up inside him.
This is a fun and sassy low angst story between the two of them. The angst comes into how they tell Nick about their relationship. WORTH THE WAIT is the first book in the Worth It series, set in the seaside town of Worthbridge. Nathan and Freddie were joined at the hip from a young age, but life wasn't easy, and so their friendship came to an end. Nathan joined the army, and Freddie joined the police force. Skip forward fifteen years, and Nathan has returned to Worthbridge with his son.
If you are looking for a gritty contemporary story, then I can always recommend C.F. White! This one is no different. It is full of emotions and English slang. I can almost hear the accents! There is an ongoing story, but this one wraps up nicely. I am hoping we get to see Freddie, Nathan, and Alfie in future books, as this one pretty much ends just as they get together again.
There is also a great cast of supporting characters that I also hope to see and learn more about. Considering the story, this was fairly low angst between our two MCs, and there is steam when they get together, although it's not soft and tender steam, if you know what I mean.

If you are looking for a gritty contemporary story, then I can always recommend C.F. White! This one is no different. It is full of emotions and English slang. I can almost hear the accents! There is an ongoing story, but this one wraps up nicely. I am hoping we get to see Freddie, Nathan, and Alfie in future books, as this one pretty much ends just as they get together again.

I really didn't think that Mr Bryndza could better the first and second instalments in this excellent series but he has and yet again, I was totally engrossed from the first to the last word. You don't have to have read either of the first two books but I would highly recommend you do.
The characters are strong and I am really getting attached to Kate and Tristan; they are a brilliant duo and work really well together. The pace was spot on, the plot gripping and the tension spine-tinglingly good. The chapters which are written from the point of view of the killer are goosebump-inducing; he is so cold it really gave me the creeps - it was perfect! There is a great twist and the ending was so good I read way too late into the night and then was really disappointed that I had finished ... I didn't want it to end!
This series just keeps getting better and better and I can't wait for the next one. In the "Author's Letter" at the end, Mr Bryndza says that "Kate and Tristan will return shortly for another gripping murder investigation!" and I for one am waiting with bated breath!
Highly recommended for readers who love dark, exciting, suspense-filled stories that despite making you feel ill at ease at times, you read on into the night.

Absolutely one of my favourite stories so far! I love the dragon shifters I love Angus and Mack in this was her brilliant funny self. It was such a feel good instalment to a series I have grown to love. It also sets us nicely up for Brhics story.

The premise of this book is unusual which immediately grabbed my interest. It isn't the same formula re-worded. However, I was still unsure, even after reading the synopsis, about what I would be getting.
What I got was an interesting, rich and fully detailed book covering not just our main female character but Lexi and the Wish Mistress too. There is enough background on the other characters that they all slot in perfectly together and you know that you are getting a complete story. There are no big chunks missed out of this one.
Mandy's birthday wish was a rare one - it was her soul wish. And it is not just granted without a thought. The wish is the start of a journey that she can choose whether to take or not. And therein lies a brilliant story. It starts off quite light but soon gets darker (in a YA-friendly way). The secret that Mandy was hiding was heartbreaking in its childlike simplicity. It is easy to forget how literal children are with what you say to them and how long it can stay with them. During the conversation with Mandy and her mum, it brought tears to my eyes.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and will be reading Break My Bones, the second in this series.

What I got was an interesting, rich and fully detailed book covering not just our main female character but Lexi and the Wish Mistress too. Mandy's birthday wish was a rare one - it was her soul wish. And it is not just granted without a thought. The wish is the start of a journey that she can choose whether to take or not. And therein lies a brilliant story. It starts off quite light but soon gets darker (in a YA-friendly way). The secret that Mandy was hiding was heartbreaking in its childlike simplicity. It is easy to forget how literal children are with what you say to them and how long it can stay with them. During the conversation with Mandy and her mum, it brought tears to my eyes.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and will be reading Break My Bones, the second in this series.

I thought that Veiron had stolen my heart but it appears that it is split in two and Asmodeus holds the other part! I will say that feisty, stubborn Liora is Asmodeus' perfect match. These two actually work together to move forwards. They know when they have hurt the other and take steps to say sorry or repair whatever damage may have been done. The interaction between these two is just perfect, whether it is witty or flirtatious banter or whether it is deep, soul-searching.
Erin and Veiron are also in this and continue to show just how wonderful they are together. I still love Erin's attitude and how she won't bow down to the male in her life but instead meets him toe-to-toe.
Amelia and Marcus also show up but Marcus appears to be more and more 'ghostly' as the series moves on. He is just fading into the background which is a shame whereas Amelia still feels that instead of the original angel, she is the ultimate matchmaker but no one is good enough.
Tears, laughter, sexiness - it's all here. I can't not give it 5 stars!

Amelia and Marcus also show up but Marcus appears to be more and more 'ghostly' as the series moves on. He is just fading into the background which is a shame whereas Amelia still feels that instead of the original angel, she is the ultimate matchmaker but no one is good enough.
