Failing musician gets hit by a car during a mysterious worldwide 12-second blackout, and wakes up to a world in which The Beatles never existed (also never existed: Coca-Cola, cigarettes (?), and Harry Potter). Musician claims the songs as his own and becomes an overnight sensation.

(There are also the rom-com elements: failing musician is oblivious to the feelings of his friend-slash-manager until he's uber-famous and it's almost too late, friend-slash-manager starts seeing someone else, etc.)

Evidently, there are two other people in the world who also remember The Beatles, and though the movie attempts to make you think there may be something sinister happening there (*gasp* are they going to expose him??), there isn't. These two people aren't even mad that the musician is claiming he wrote the songs; they're just happy to hear the songs again.

There's a pretty great sequence in which our main character looks up John Lennon (played by Robert Carlyle) and goes to visit him, because hey, if The Beatles never existed, then it follows that John must still be alive, right? I didn't even think of that until he showed up on screen, but it seemed like a quietly brilliant piece of the movie.

So what caused the mysterious 12-second blackout and the disappearance of The Beatles (and Coca-Cola, cigarettes, Harry Potter)? I HAVE NO IDEA BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T TELL US. Anybody who knows me will tell you I always need to know the "why" of things, so this mostly happily-ever-after ending left me super frustrated.

This updated version of Final Fantasy X and X-2 is a great addition to any playstation game library. X is a brilliant journey of a man trying to make his own story. Propelled into a world much different to his own where there is magic and fiends! Tidus, Yuna, Auron and co. make for a great narrative with lots of interesting dialogue and story. The characters develop as you journey through the world constantly ravaged by a giant evil creature known as Sin. There are interesting theological debates raised by the game in terms of the indoctrinated Yevonites and their hate of the Al Bhed for following a different set of beliefs. I would recommend this game to anyone who has some time to put into learning all about Spira the world in which blitzball( a great minigame) is the only major sport, a world which is overrun by fiends of all shapes and sizes, a world which you can explore to the fullest and find all the hidden treasures and games. X-2 took and entirely different turn, after the events of X Yuna, Rikku and a new character Paine are looking for Tidus. The way the game plays is rather different and to be honest i wasn't a fan. I didnt enjoy the way the game battled and levelled. Everything had to do with clothing which i felt was somewhat off for a final fantasy game. One day i hope to return and give it the time its predecessor earned it. Overall 9/10 because X was so good.

Omega Stolen is the first book in the Northern Lodge Pack series, and we get a fine introduction into just who they are, and why this pack was formed and living where it is. Kai doesn't have the best of starts (to say the least) and it says a lot when his life actually takes a turn for the better when he is sold by his father! Although he will be forced to have sex and possibly a pup, and then forced into giving up said pup, that hasn't actually happened yet. For the first time, he is fed and has friends. Luckily for him, Jenny is there and her brother is looking for her. Jake is determined to find his sister, and once he finds out she has others she won't leave behind, they're all on their way.

This was a fast-paced book, with no excess of words or scenes. It is very sweet, with the huge BOOM of instant mates. However, for a quick, sassy read, it was absolutely brilliant, and just what I needed. I don't know if I have read an updated version, but there were no editing, spelling, or grammar mistakes that disrupted my reading. Each chapter was titled with who was speaking so there was no confusion there.

A quick, hot, MM Shifter Mpreg book that I thoroughly enjoyed and have no hesitation in recommending.

* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and the comments here are my honest opinion. *
