Tough yet brilliant
I tend to disagree with most of the Oscar winners, but Manchester By The Sea and Casey Affleck deserve ever accolade that are thrown at them. This is an emotionally draining but fantastically acted film, with a harrowing yet interesting storyline with a few darkly funny moments thrown in too. Casey Affleck puts in a stunning performance and although it's not necessarily a pleasant film to watch, it's still brilliant and definitely a must see.

Great actors
One of the best twists ever!
Simply brilliant
Amazing film on quite a low budget but with some brilliant scenes. The acting is top notch which helps make the film so simple yet effective. Told in retrospect as a survivor tells the story that led to a big shoot out. This film has one of the most famous twists in cinema. If you have missed it put it to the top of your list!

I had not read the other books in the set before reading this one but that made no difference. what a fantastic read, with brilliant characters. the way the story is written is brilliant and will keep you hooked until the very last page. the story line and plot will keep you guessing till the end nut you'll end up wanting the best for one of the characters

The rock smashed it again
After Dwayne Johnson's previous films, you think he cannot do anything more right, but he does. This film is brilliant, Dwayne plays the part of family man who would do anything for those he loves so well (as we've seen before), the two child actors were fantastic in their roles also and really convincing. All round, the perfect film for anyone into action, adventure and family.
