"This magnificently strange, moving and hysterical debut collection of short stories was, full disclosure, written by my WIFE! But I wouldn’t recommend so highly if I didn’t think it one of the very best short story collections."

"Every decade, we get a stunning collection of dynamic, heartbreaking short stories. In the past, those collections came from Barry Hannah, Mark Richard, and Thom Jones. For the next 10 years, Pollock’s work will be tough for any writer to beat."

"I always turn to Wendell Berry for inspiration on food, community, agriculture, and well, just being a human. His work has influenced so many of my own mentors that I feel like he’s my own teacher. This is one of my favorite collections of his."

Another collections of stories that felt more like a collection of ideas written down. Each story had potential to be something great, but instead ended up being less. I am glad I recieved it as free copy, otherwise I would have been offended for having spent money on it.

The size and price might deter some, but these comic strips are so funny. Whether you get the smaller collections or spring from this set, read and laugh.

"I bet there aren’t any movie theaters on the desert island, so I will bring books that remind me of cinema. I will try to secretly fill a whole luggage. Some interviews collections: Hitchcock-Truffaut, Orson Welles, Ava Gardner…Officially here is one, with the sublime Billy Wilder."

A second treasury of the comic strip Zits containing all the laughs from two smaller collections. Jeremy is a teenager who struggles with normal teenage things. The laughs are strong.

No new comics you can't find in the other collections, but it does contain some of the best from this comic strip. And Bill Watterson's commentary on the strips is priceless for die hard fans of the classic.
