Quite funny
Something different from most Horror films
Cool original Horror film
A decent twist to the old creepy cabin in the woods genre. It led to an unusual feel to the film though, it wasn't like watching a slasher film as you know something else is going on behind the scenes. It has a fair bit of dark humour to it as well. The twist does make for a more interesting film, so at least it tried something different.

A romantic weekend on an island in Maine is anything but for Meg and Michael when they find her family already at the family cabin. That's before a hurricane arrives and strands them with an island packed with birders and a killer. While this book still has the humor of the first in the series, it also features a stronger mystery.

Rinnah Two Feathers is spending the summer with her two best friends at a cabin one of their dad's owns. But a strange note from a mysterious woman plunges all of them into more danger. Again, the characters are great and the plot moves along at a brisk pace. I sure wish this weren't the final book in the series.

Watched a really good action thriller on Amazon called "Braven" starring Jason Mamoa. Remind me a lot of some of the old action movies from the 80s and 90s. Good acting, great cinematography, well played out (and fairly believable) storyline. He plays a logger who has to fight off drug dealers who've stashed a bunch of drugs in his hunting cabin in the woods. Really well made. I highly recommend this movie if you're into action stories. REALLY worth a watch!
