It took me a while before i finally picked this book up but i am so glad that i did. The story can be a little slow at times but not so much that you want to give up on it. You cant help but love all the main characters and hate the ones who deserve to be hated. You know right from the beginning that someone dies and you spend the entire book guessing who and hoping it's not certain characters. The book covers the topics of bullying and domestic abuse so it can be a little touchy for some but not so intense that its too hard to read. I have been known to figure out the ending of some books but i can definitely say that i did not see this one coming. The surprise ending was most certainly that. My mouth was literally hanging open when it all came together. I love the way the author writes and i can not wait to read the rest of her books.

So I just finished the Reign finale and I may have to watch it again to have a full understanding of what exactly happened because it didn't feel like a whole hour passed as I was watching it. There was also a lot of loose ends that didn't get tied up. I should probably read up on the history of what actually happened, too. All I can say now is I'm really going to miss this show and thanks to everyone involved for 4 seasons of such a beloved show.

A nice, quick and enjoyable read. I should say that I shouldn't really class this short story as a 'romance' as it is more of a dose of 'smut'...but good smut I might add.
It outlines the bully/victim relationship with a splash of attraction and lust leaving the reader wanting more. In my personal opinion I can not stand bullies and people who abuse others so it makes me cringe a bit when these people are so easily forgiven. Even so I would definitely consider reading the possible sequel.

I rated something in my daily task list and really wanted to review it but that's not an option when doing the list and I can't review something I've rated for a few months by which time I'll forget what I want to say. How about a way to rate something and review it separately, whether it's within the hour, the next week, whatever. There are some things that I can rate with a number but it takes a while to sort my thoughts about why I gave it that rating.

Hi @Dianne Robbins - thanks for the feedback.

When you add a rating on the Daily Mission carousel, that rating is added to your profile.

Clicking 'Add reviews to my ratings' will take you to your latest ratings, where clicking 'Edit' will allow you to add a review to your rating.

Is this what you are looking to do? Please correct me if I've misunderstood.

Thanks. 😊

A piece of literary beauty.
What can I say to describe a book that had me entranced from the first to the last page? It made me laugh, it had my holding my breath with anticipation, and it made me shove the book under my husbands and children’s noses to show them the meandering words of Dead Papa Toothwort as they crawled across the page. It’s just a glorious book!
I marvel at the mind of someone who can write something as original and beautiful as this - it’s poetry in prose form, and I loved reading every word.

It made me laugh, what can I say
This is not some award winning piece of film, this was meant to be a comedy and it was. I have always been a fan of Goldie Hawn fan, going way back to Overboard and Private Benjamin. Amy Schumer is funny as hell and she makes me laugh. Not the a movie that made me have to pee my pants but it did make me laugh from time to time and I enjoyed the interaction between Hawn and Schumer.

Definitely worth watching if you can catch it streaming.

What can I say about this film, it was pretty much what I expected. It's not scary or even that creepy compared to the other Conjuring universe films.
The best way I can describe this film. It's like when you go into a reptile house and see a display with an impressive name. You look closely trying to spot the animal. Then you realise the display is empty. That sums this film up.
It took 75 minutes to get going, problem is it's only about 95 minutes long. It's not as good as Creation.

Rating: 10/5 (I know that’s stupid, but it deserves it.)

Oh boy.

Starting this book was the highlight of my weekend, I was so excited. I should have waited until next year when I had the third one securely in my hands to have started this one.

The story that was left hanging in The Hunger Games picks right back up again, and drags you into the action from the first chapter. I’m not going to give anything away, but I will say that at times I laughed very hard, and at other times I very nearly cried. Obviously, a book that can make you cry is a good one.

Problem is, I want the third one RIGHT NOW!

From a writer’s perspective, it had a great ending. From a reader’s perspective, I’m very mad at Suzanne Collins right now. Those dreaded words almost killed me: END OF BOOK TWO. Nooooo…….

Read it. that’s all I have to say about that.

Until next time,

~Haley

I can honestly say that, in my opinion, Salazar's Revenge is one the better instalments of the Pirates Of The Caribbean Franchise :) I have written my review and will post it on the 22nd of this month at 3pm (that was the specific date and time we were told we couldn't Post any reviews until) even though it is none spoiler review :)

I do recommend going to see this film at the cinema, in IMAX if possible
