Excellent story
Brilliant
Loved this so much, I was toe tapping and singing the whole way through. I don't think many people can say they aren't a fan on Queen, they appealed to the masses.
This film is progressive and done well despite being dramatised. It ended in a good place.
The character/people development was very good and it was nice to see an insight into the band behind the legend.
Would highly recommend, although a sad ending it lifted my spirits.

*sigh* Owen...
I don't know what to say other than I'm glad you've realised that you can get over your guilt, that you do deserve to be with Gin, that you won't let Salina come between you for much longer.
I loved how you beat the crap out of those two, with a little help from Phillip of course, just so Gin wouldn't have another enemy to beat when she got back to her car.
You better win her back properly in the next full length novel!

I know I shouldn’t really say this sort of thin out loud, but this was actually a lot more interesting than I thought it might be. It consists of 39 short stories about the author’s travels around different parts of the world to places that are often uncharted, forgotten, or lost. Actually, there are quite bizarre and spooky stories, too. It’s made me want to visit these places to see if I can feel myself surrounded by ghosts (The Phantom Tunnel of Shinjuku Station, British Graveyard- Shimla, and Magical ‘ley-lines’ of London for starters!)
As you can tell I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It’s interesting to not only discover these new tales of old, but to realise how some micro-nations are struggling to survive, as new islands emerge, and borders and boundaries come and go changing our world faster than ever before.
A fascinating book that’s also quite alarming!

Two guys just talking
I found these guys on YouTube and then went over to castbox to listen to them since that app can be closed and still play the podcast and found the content was funny and did inspire some poetry within me. I'd say the only thing that left me with a bad taste was the amount of bad language, but it is something I was able to push through just to hear what they were saying. It was rather interesting and again funny so worth it. It' called random nothingness.

I don't even know what to say. I love watching Law & Order: SVU, more so than any of the other Law & Orders (if that tells you how messed up I am), so reading With Visions of Red felt like an episode wrapped up into a book. I kind of love that fact - I have yet to experience L&O through my favorite form of consumption: literature. I chose to download the free version offered through Amazon because I assumed it had to do with BDSM, which can be just as good a romance story as any other. Obviously I was way, way wrong. I don't feel a need to complain though. Despite this book being so different from what I usually read, I really enjoyed it... I guess that's sick and twisted, but whatever. I have, thankfully, never experienced the horrors and terrors that Sadie has. I couldn't even begin to imagine the darkness that tries to claw its way to the surface, considering her line of work. It's interesting to see how she thinks and feels, how she deals with her past and reigns it in before it can obscure her present. For me, like I said before, a book of this nature is a first, so it was refreshing in a dark and twisted way. Honestly, I look forward to reading the whole series to discover not only who the unsub is or what happened to Colton in the past, but to see if two broken and destroyed souls can come together and become whole.

An unexpected gem
I won a copy of this in a Smashbomb giveaway (thank you @Smashbomb!) and am now giving my entirely honest and unbiased review.
This is the first time ive read any of Morgan Sheppard’s work, and I can safely say that I will be doing again going forwards. I read this in its entirety on a very long and tedious train journey for work, and I can honestly say it really brightened up my commute!
This is only a short story, but it is very well written with a surprisingly simple premise. On the surface the premise seems almost too basic, but it really works. It’s surprising how effective and interesting a story about someone reciting their past can be. The two main characters are likeable and relatable and I’m sure most readers would recognise parts of themselves in this. The situation and story itself has a lot of relevance to relationships and today’s society.
I do have a couple of criticisms but these are pretty minor. One issue is some of the dialogue comes across as a little stilted and awkward and doesn’t flow quite as well as a normal real life conversation would. My other criticism actually has a massive compliment wrapped up in it - this story is far too short! I enjoyed reading this very much and wasn’t happy when it ended as I wanted more and would happily have read more. I feel like this could have been made into a much longer and more detailed story and it still could’ve been just as good. There’s a lot of potential here!

I read this wonderful book, not having read the book that comes before it: ‘The Last Days of Rabbit Hayes’. This didn’t spoil my reading enjoyment at all though, and stood on its own perfectly well. Saying that, I have now bought Rabbit Hayes - mainly because I don’t want to let go of the wonderful characters in this book just yet!
This is the story of how Rabbits family and best friend cope after her death. It’s the story about their grief, their loss and how they go about getting on with their lives in the aftermath.
I can’t even tell you how often this book made me cry, but I can say that I laughed in equal measure. The author has created these highly likeable, realistic characters, and it’s so easy to empathise with them.
I just loved it. I was an absolute mess whilst reading it (thank god for reading during the summer holidays!), but I loved it. Oh, and when I grow up, I want to be just like Molly Hayes. That woman is the mistress of the one liner and rules in the art of foul language. As my son would say: #goals.
I would highly recommend this book.

Sacha is the second female to get her mate (Brianne and Vane) and she gets a fully-fledged God in Hades. She is lying in a coma when he realises, so he does the only thing a God can do, and wakes her up! Drake is none too chuffed with this turn of events and it is down to P to try and explain the importance of why Sacha needs to choose for herself.
Can I just say, I loved Hades! Even since I watched Disney's Hercules with my daughters, I couldn't help but see Hades like this in my mind! Can I just say, I loved Hades! Even since I watched Disney's Hercules with my daughters, I couldn't help but see Hades like this in my mind! Let me just say though, that Setta Jay's Hades is nothing like this! He is gorgeous, caring, proactive, and yes, just a little bit arrogant. He is a God though, so give him a break.
Sacha and Hades make the perfect couple. He is understanding of her and tries to help with her recovery. Sacha rounds Hades out and smooths his arrogant edges. Love them.
Hot, sexy, funny, action-packed - Divine Ecstasy is a fantastic addition to the Guardians of the Realms series, and I can't wait for P's book and Sirena's!!!

Turn off your brain and enjoy
The most badass assassin the world have ever seen.
I've been introduced to the franchise when the second movie was released. I will review those later on. John Wick 3 was the first movie of the trilogy I watched in the cinema and what a brilliant experience. I'm not an action junkie but this movie is simply amazing. You can sit comfy, turn off your brain and enjoy the fun. The photography is just amazing, probably one of the best I ever seen in an action movie. The colours are vivid and NYC is just amazing. I will not write about the story because its a marginal part of this trilogy. They created a living and enjoyable world where you can lose yourself. The choreography and the fighting scenes are awesome and even if sometimes they can be too extreme (nearly funny to see) it will never be too much. Keenu Reeves. I really need to say anything else?
