so terrible its hilarious
Well what can I say? Netflix has just released a cartoon about Santa Klaus and that is more realistic and believable than this, a film so ridiculous I was laughing out loud all the way through. With moments like a car being attached to a helicopter and the helicopter is lifting up the car but they flip nitrous on and so the wheels start turning fast, gripping the road and thus stopping the helicopter pulling it. Erm, science?

Also the show has more holes than Swiss cheese.

My girlfriend loved it and thought it was a brilliant film.

"What can I say? Robert Altman interprets Raymond Carver with an amazing cast of characters. Look at any of Altman’s films and you’ll find they are among the finest examples of collaborative efforts, yet unmistakably and uniquely his own. I was lucky enough to get to work with him on Kansas City, and briefly on Tanner on Tanner, and will always be inspired by his vision, independence, and generosity of spirit. About Kansas City he once said to me, “I don’t care if this film makes a nickel—I want it to be successful on my terms.” Then gesturing toward himself and me, he added, “Our terms.” We’ll miss you forever, Bob."

"Buñuel’s work is very important to me because it made me understand how far you can go with imagination and still be so close to reality. For me, The Exterminating Angel is so real—maybe Buñuel wouldn’t be happy to hear me say that because he’s not famous for his realism. But even if it’s a surrealistic parable, I’ve been so many places where I felt like I was living inside the feeling of this movie. It’s like a documentary about society. When I was making my movie Happy as Lazzaro, I surveyed movies that all talk about how to be good, because Lazzaro is a good man. Viridiana came up as something to watch."

No adverts TV series and movies
I have to say, I love netflix. No adverts, no waiting a week for the next episode, you can binge watch to your heart's content. Netflix creates its own movies and seasons. My current favourite is The Christmas Chronicles and The Good Place. Both are most sees, both will brighten your day and leave you with a smile on your face and a laugh in your heart. Best of all, my whole family can watch whatever they want to on their own devices, no more fighting over the TV buttons.

Grounded with a story about mental/ emotional abuse
Great acting by Elizabeth Moss
I gotta say: I normally don't care for remakes. But this one was pretty damn good. While it is a bummer that Universal has had such bad luck updating their classic monsters and throwing them into a shared "Dark Universe," I'm relieved that they quit while they were ahead. This movie goes to show that just because Marvel can pull off a shared cinematic universe, doesn't mean everyone should try it. It's amazing what can happen when studios abandon that route and focus on just making quality standalone movies. That is MORE THAN OKAY! Definitely check it out.

Just came across this film as flicking through channels and lost count how many times seen this amazing film. Even as a man I can say how this story moves me and brings a whole bunch of emotions throughout the film. It's very captivating and a well told story which will live on for many many years as one of the all time greatest films of my time. Can't say enough how this film brings back so many memories and emotions yet still will watch it when ever its on.

A disappointing Christie
I haven’t read a lot of Christie’s work but of the ones I have read this is not one of her best. It is a typical Christie in layout, in the way she leads you down the wrong path on purpose or the way she deliberately doesn’t given you certain information. However, I worked out what was happening fairly quickly and I really didn’t like the ending, it was very disappointing and made me wonder what the point of it all was.

In a nutshell, a man dies on a train, there’s an investigation by Poirot, everyone is interviewed and the murderer announced. If you love Christie then this is one not to miss reading so you can at least say you have read them all but if you are looking for a rip roaring yarn or an exciting thriller then I can think of better books to spend your time on

Not everything is black and white
I have no words.

I've been waiting for this book since discovering the Devil's Night series a few months ago, and I latched onto Damon from the moment he hit the pages. Michael was fascinating, Kai was sweet, Will has demons, but Damon... What can I say? I clearly have issues. I always want the baddest bad of them all.

This book is a roller coaster of emotion. Frustration, bafflement, devastation, annoyance - yes all those emotions come with the actions of Damon. There are moments when you just want to throttle him, and yet...

And yet ....

I'm not going to post spoilers. If you've read Corrupt and Hideaway, you'll go into this book thinking how can someone so evil be redeemed.

This book is EVERYTHING it needs to be.

I'm nursing a book hangover and I'm not entirely sure there's a cure for this one.
