Excellent documentary funny, heartfelt but honest.
I can truely say this was an excellent documentary regarding a talent that was genius. Tells of young Chris and how he adapted his way of thinking to create the great Frank Sidebottom and the internal conflict it created within the artist.
Its funny, moving and doesn't paint Mr Sievy to be an angel. It's a must watch for any fans of comedy.

VR at its finest
What can I say about this quietly released VR game during a crazy time like this? Well if you were hoping for zombies during this virus outbreak, its here! In VR form at least.
This game has a strange intensity surrounding it the whole time your inside the game. With "walkers" coming at you, people to fight or help and scavenging everything you need to survive, this game packs a punch and certainly delivers a VR game someone can be proud of.
With so many games lacking the length and replay ability, Saints and Sinners looks to keep you hooked as there are so many things to unlock in order to stay alive. Having only scratched the surface if ths game so far, i look forward to revisiting a devestated New Orleans as much as i can. If you love action and horror, and are also a fan of VR then this is the game yoi have been waiting for.

Echo Falls (Echo Falls #1) by Jaime McDougall
I got this for two reasons - 1) it was free and 2) I like paranormal romance. I can quite honestly say that I'm very glad that I did and have sat down and read it in a couple of hours as I wanted to find out what happened!

I loved the storyline in it and even though I knew who the "traitor" was, it in no way diminished my enjoyment of the story as a whole. I loved how Phoebe's story was told throughout the book and how Aidan was trying to get information from her. The secondary characters in this book are also believable and funny. It also makes a very refreshing change to have the main female as scared, unsure and carrying physical scars without being a complete wuss.

Loved reading it and will definitely be keeping it!

Favourite character? Definitely Aiden!

Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

I had such high hopes for this book. The only nice thing I have to say about this books is that at least Louisa Edwards can write a realistic storyline. Unfortunately, it was a story I was completely uninterested in. I was intrigued because I always have a thing for romance novels involving kitchens and cooks. That is why I asked for the book in the first place.

Yes, the characters were realistic not only in their behaviors and dialogues, but also in their interaction with each other. Yes, the storyline was also believable, with plenty of the usually deceit, secrets, and embarrassing moments that come with romances novels. But that was just it, I felt like I was reading just another romance. Nothing about this novel seemed special, unique, or stuck out in my mind.

Well written, with realistic characters and plot, but nothing special. I will not be reading the other two in the series.

Ruhn and Saxton - loved them as a couple (0 more)

I really enjoyed Blood Fury and I didn't expect to. Mainly, because I didn't care much for Saxton in the past and I didn't really have much of an opinion on Peyton and Novo. Having now read it, I can honestly say that I loved the romance between Saxton and Ruhn. I did not see that coming! And their involvement with the human developers was a great story.
My heart broke for Novo. With her past and her awful family, it's not surprising she's as tough as she is, and I'm glad that someone was able to make her love again and help her move on and I'm glad that that someone was Peyton- if only because it meant that he'd stop obsessing over the rather dull Paradise.

Quintessential British coming of age
‘He can’t hear, she doesn’t speak but they understand one another perfectly’

That’s the strap line on this book and it blew me away like I find the best YA can. This was one of the most relatable YAs I’ve read in a long time (I work with this age group and that’s why I find it relateable...I know I’m not 18). I think some of this was down to the fact it was quintessentially British and not American and I loved sense of home in this book.

Steffi was a carefully crafted complex and refreshing character. I ‘got’ her, I admired her and wanted her to thrive in whatever way was right for her. Rhys was bloody adorable and flawed and adorable. Did I say adorable? *shrugs* The story of these two was a absorbing delight to read but it was real.

I devoured this book quickly. I slipped into this seamless writing with ease and I’m genuinely sorry it’s over. I will be reading more from Sara Barnard, she rocked this age range so good.

I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review

An interesting story, to say the least. It was a different concept and I appreciate that. However, there were times when I didn’t understand what was going on. The beginning for instance. I know he controlled air, but the passage itself was hard to grasp. I wasn’t sure that what I was visualizing in my head is what the author intended.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read, especially if you are looking for more erotica than story. While there was a plot, and it was fairly interesting, the sex heavily outweighed the story.

I suppose I am biased, however, since this novel was exactly up my alley. I love erotica, and I love stories that involve people who can control elements. Besides witches/warlocks, they are my ultimate favorite paranormals. However, if the author wasn’t skilled, I wouldn’t have enjoyed this story nearly as much. Despite the random scenes I found confusing, it was an enjoyable story.
