It’s just that this feels like two films too much in a film series that should’ve ended in 2007. But, it’s one of those things that always makes me wonder. It’s not that I hate the movie, it’s just that there’s no oomph to it.

Cheesy, lame and a bit cringey in parts

This could have been a decent film but its no way near along the lines of pirates of the Caribbean. The acting and scripting is so cheesy and no real air of authenticity. Has an element of comedy that keeps it rolling along but thats about it

Great location

Entertaining Adventure

A fun enjoyable adventure film that felt like a mix of Pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones. It has a likable cast, some good action scenes and very good Sfx. The story isn't original by any means but the mix of fantasy and old legends is a nice addition. Definitely one to see on the big screen.

Based upon the ride at Disneyworld/Disneyland, Pirates of the Caribbean is a fun film. The action is good, and I love the combination of Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. The story was well put together. Disney definitely tried to recreate the magic with the further POTC films, and other films based upon rides.
This film definitely made pirates popular to the extreme, which was alright with me.
