Curiousity definitely killed the cat
I'm a bit sceptical when it comes to 'horror' audiobooks, however, I was pleasantly surprised by this creepy unnerving tale. With a great balance of fantastic dialogue and narration, the story was not overloaded with clichés and almost held all the way through. The narrators were fantastic, hearing a clear change between the numerous characters. As much as I enjoyed the book, it seem to lose the plot, so to speak, by the end, terminating abruptly. It would have been a full five stars otherwise.

Clichéd protagonist, obvious culprit
I think this tried very hard to be different from Girl On A Train, but the alcoholic neurotic main character was two dimensional and boring.

Similarly there were a ghastly amount of clichés - "smiled like a Cheshire cat" - and I had figured out who it was about 60 per cent of the way in to the novel.

Downsides aside, it is still engaging to a certain extent but keep in mind that it might not be so dissimilar from current plots in this genre.

Wow, just wow. It starts off pretty interesting with the two characters. With one on the edge skirting death. I found the idea with slipping in time pretty interesting. The idea connecting to the title of this book is interesting. Just when I thought everything was pretty much settled a twist happens. That piece made my head hurt, not dead but not alive indeed. Schrodinger's cat at it's finest!

Very steamy and full of lots of laugh out loud moments
I LOVE this book. It is one of the most addictive romance novels I've ever read. The story of Caroline and Simon's budding relationship is exciting and raw. The best thing about this book is the hilariously relatable protagonist, Caroline, and her adventures in juggling her career, her baking, and her extremely loud neighbor. Would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romance novels that offer sexiness and a good chuckle every now and then.

Cat Got Your Diamonds is an excellent start to the new Kitty Couture Mystery series. Lacy is funny, clever heroine, and I really enjoyed reading about her exploits. After encountering an intruder in her shop after hours, Lacy goes to get the police only to return with them and find the intruder dead. Finding herself suspected of murder, Lacy does just what we would expect of her. She decides to investigate.

With a great sense of humor and an interesting supporting cast, animal lovers, cozy lovers, and just about anyone else should love this book.
