I thought this was okay, I liked the humour, but it also fell a little flat for me.

There was no real build up in the romance, it seemed to just appear when Gabriel decided he liked the smell of her and then they were kissing. Add in a sort of second love interest and jealousy was in abundance.

I can't say I connected with the characters or the story but I decided to finish it. The best bit for me was probably the cat-fight at the end and the guys' comments about it.

Grizzly deeds
Well what can be said about this fairly grizzly film.
This film has you on the edge of your set gripped with suspense as Atkin trys to crack a safe in his employers house to pay his wife's debt and ensure his wife's safety, when this all goes wrong and it turns into a game of cat and mouse with a menacing psychopath has the house rigged with traps.
This is a must see film even with it massive hole in the story but I will let you figure that one out.

A bachelor goose must form a bond with two lost ducklings as they journey south.

This may have dented my love of children's films just a little bit.

A cat with a split personality and some fairly difficult to love characters were only part of my problem with this film. It was a predictable and not nearly entertaining enough to make up for that fact.

However the worst bit was the opening sequence. Everything is done so fast that it's almost impossible to work out what is actually going on, and worse for me, it set off my motion sickness.

Maddie (Kate Siegel) is a deaf writer, living a “quiet” life in the woods, secluded and alone, trying to heal after the breakdown of her last relationship.

Queue the bad guy played by John Gallagher Jr... and what follows is an 82 minute, interesting game of cat and mouse.

It’s a fresh take on the standard home invasion/slasher movie genre with the added element of her disability. Expect some great scenes, good acting from the small cast involved and no complicated storyline.

Try to overlook the inconsistencies, the plot holes and occasional predictability.
