So, My reviews aren't really long because I use the app more than the website and I have so much trouble typing on a phone anyway...

I really, really like this series!

My stepmom wants me to branch out of middle school books hence The Selection, The Twisted Tales, and the Disney Villians series. Browsing Amazon for quarantine reads I remembered the Gallagher Girls a series recommended to me in high school. I owned books three and five (Long story) so I hunted down the rest. I'll be honest, it isn't often that I dislike a book and this trend continues! I'm head-over-heels in love with Gallagher girls!

Told from Cammie's POV her little quips and 'fast-facts about the world drew me in and made me devour the first book and this one. It was amazing, it was intense, a nice roller-coaster ride and I can't wait to see where the next one goes (Already on chapter five)

Yes, I recommend the book!

First off, I want to thank the authors for sending me a copy of this book in return for an honest review; please be reassured that receiving this book for free in no way influenced my review in any way.

What a fantastic read that was!

Excellent characters, brilliant and unique story line, gripping and full of suspense … what more can you ask for? Well, throw in a serial killer and a deadly flu virus and you have Silent Fear! But that’s not all … the Morcans write in a way that immerses you into the story so that you become absorbed into the lives of the characters and the dire situation they have found themselves in through no fault of their own.

I have to admit that it was quite daunting to find my Kindle copy was 708 pages long!! That’s one heck of a beast, however, you quickly forget that as you are swept along from chapter to chapter with ease picking up the subtle clues dropped along the way that you don’t initially recognise as being clues until the excellent twist at the end when all is revealed.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good whodunnit or mystery or thriller or serial killer story or … actually, anyone who loves reading a great book and I would urge you to check out the Morcans other works some of which I have been lucky enough to have also read- see my blog for the links - Reading Stuff 'n' Things.

4.25 stars

This book grabbed me from the first chapter. I was interested in how Lizzy was going to help her get her crush and then we're thrown straight into the next chapter and she's suffering from amnesia and can't remember anything of the last year but her life has changed considerably.

I just HAD to keep reading so I could unravel the mystery of what had happened to Hanna and to figure out how everything had changed in those months she couldn't remember. I read this in one sitting, I was that addicted.

Being a bigger girl myself I was invested in Hanna getting her guy. I wanted her to be happy and body confident. But figuring out who was the right guy when she can't remember anything was hard. I was invested in it. In her.

And then those last couple of chapters... I was in floods of tears towards the end.

Then that last sentence turned it into a cliff-hanger ending and I now NEED to read the next book to see what happens next with Hanna. That's my reasoning for knocking the story down half a star. I was looking forward to a happy ending for them and currently they haven't got one.

There are also still several unanswered questions: What happened the day she fell down the bakery stairs? Who's the anonymous investor in the bakery? (Though we may already know the answer). Did Hanna put the ring on that day, or did someone put it on for her?

Off to buy book 2.
