Existential Sci Fi at it's best.
A modern classic, everyone should see this once, and decide for themselves: the Red Pill or the Blue Pill.... a little bit of Trivia: All of the references to street corners (for example, Wells and Lake) are real intersections in Chicago, Illinois, The Wachowskis' hometown. The subway train has signs for "Loop," another Chicago reference.
Chicago is my hometown, and the best city in America.... but I'm Biased.

Chicago Fire Wannabee
My wife and I are huge fans of Chicago Fire, so were keen to see whether another firefighter show could come close to that kind of quality. My wife is also a big fan of Grey's Anatomy, with Station 19 coming from the team responsible for that, so even more reason to give Station 19 a shot.
The season starts off badly though. Terrible acting, dodgy plot-lines, and no real likeable characters at all. You can't help but compare it to Chicago Fire, it's like they're just trying to emulate that buddy drama vibe Chicago Fire does so well. Hell, one of the Station 19 characters even looks exactly like a character from Chicago Fire!!
We stuck with it, and to be fair it did get better towards the end of its 10 episode run. The final episode featured a big 'Towering Inferno' style plot as numerous fire teams tackle a serious skyscraper fire, and the episode ended with at least 3 or 4 major cliffhangers. A very enjoyable episode and I'd certainly be prepared to give it a chance if it makes it to season 2.

I loved this book the most. It was the best written book so far for a historical fiction book. I love the fact that his is about history of event that happen in Chicago. It has some romance but not whole lot in it. This book is about the Chicago fire. It is cool that it tell you about the people and how people dealt with the fire.
I really talks about the aftermath of the great Chicago fire. It detail the what happens to some of the buildings and what the neighbors did for the city and new change came about. If you really like history or interest in history of the US then this book is for you. Remember this book has some fiction but it still go learning tool to learn about American history in some ways.
