Lindsay (1717 KP) rated The Cuddle Book in Books
Feb 5, 2021
The book is toddler-proof from the tearing. It made it durable. The pictures are done well and the parents in the book are shared fairly. The book is for loving together and playing together. This book shows you how and where you can cuddle with your family. This includes your child or their siblings or family members. Though it shows it through mom and dad.
It shows a way of loving your family or children through cuddles and hugs. Good for any time but with St. Valentine Day coming up this book is a good one. It is good for your little ones to play with. The rhyming is cute as well.
I loved the pictures. This book is good for any parent or grandparent. It is a good one to have on your bookshelves. It is even a good one to give at a baby shower. I do believe that cuddling is a good thing and teaching showing that love through hugs and cuddles.
Lindsay (1717 KP) rated Where the Wild Things Are in Books
Jun 15, 2021
It is adventurous and playful. Max travels to a faraway place that has Wild Things. I wonder if this book plot is imagination or something that lets the little boy discover what it is like to be lonely after a while. Also, learn that loved ones still care even if you have to wait. The food will still be hot when you return.
I am not sure. However, the pictures are well done. I do enjoy the images. I do not get the plot of this story; that might be me; it is a cute book nonetheless. Will Max have fun with the wild things, or will he return home to his bedroom?
Some children will enjoy these books, and parents will want to read and reread this classic book for their children. You may like this for your child's bookshelves as well. The images are superb and colorful, that is for sure.
BookInspector (124 KP) rated Evie and the Animals in Books
Sep 24, 2020 (Updated Jan 26, 2021)
The narrative of this book has a very important message to share. It teaches about deforestation and animal cruelty. It has plenty of fun adventures, self-exploration, as well as lots of important teachings about humans in general, that Matt Haig shares with his young readers.
This novel is filled with beautiful illustrations and a really fun and enjoyable writing style. The chapters are pretty short so the book didn’t leave me bored. I liked the ending of this book, even though it is quite predictable, I think it rounds up the story pretty nicely.
So, to conclude, the author didn’t disappoint me with this book, I really liked the messages he was trying to share with children, showing not such a pretty side of some of the humans, as well as incorporating a great adventure with the strong and admirable protagonist. I really enjoyed this fun and educational book, and I strongly recommend it not only to children but parents as well.
Kim Pook (101 KP) rated American Murder: The Family Next Door (2020) in Movies

After a friend is unable to contact Shannan, the police are called as well as Chris - Shannans husband-who come out to her house and find no trace of anybody in the house, it's like the family vanished into thin air, even a neighbour has no footage of them on his surveillance camera to show of anything suspicious. That neighbour does suggest, however, that something seems off with Chris but it is brushed off.
As the documentary continues, it becomes evident that the neighbour had every reason to be suspicious.
It's certainly a different way to tell a story, as usually it's told through interviews given to the camera or interviewer, so I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it. It turned out I found it just as interesting as a regular documentary if not more, because of watching everything unfold in reality. It was an interesting watch that's for sure, but the outcome is very sad.
