"One more. Let’s go with Clint Eastwood’s movie Unforgiven. I think that’s a brilliant movie. The acting in it is totally brilliant. I’ve always been a big Gene Hackman fan, but who isn’t? I love Eastwood and Morgan Freeman in it. Richard Harris is hilarious. I think the movie has an unbelievable sense of myth, and a great sense of undoing that myth. I’ve never been in a movie theater where I had that experience where the end of the movie, you have the hero say, “Yeah, I’ve killed women and children. I’m gonna kill you.”"

"The Night of the Hunter was Charles Laughton?s only film as a director and its poor reception pretty much killed his directing career. It?s a remarkable debut and there?s no other film quite like it. It?s very reliant on imager from back in the days of D.W. Griffith and it?s strikingly designed and extremely dark. I saw it at a kiddie matinee when I was a child and I was just terrified. It has such a fairy tale atmosphere about it that it probably speaks more directly to children than it does to adults."

I decided that after seeing Table 19 I'd go home and watch Rogue One as I'd picked up the DVD as they were putting them out on the shelved this morning... but then I noticed that Boss Baby had a showing in a few minutes, and it would have been rude not to see that too. There were some funny bits, and I quite enjoyed it, although I thought the "demon" children through Tim's glasses were a bit scary for a kids film. Probably that's just me associating it with horror films I've seen though. Where do I get a forever puppy?

Serviceable action flick with an all star cast before they each BLEW up and came into their own as lead actors and actresses.

Decent, if not completely predictable, story that follows an elite military unit that is essentially blackballed (and noted as deceased) by the unit for defying direct orders in an effort to protect a group of innocent children being used as pawns.

As you can imagine, they're pretty upset about that. The movie follows their pursuit of revenge on those who've wronged them and clearing their names. A few twists later, we arrive at the assumed foregone conclusion.

Sweet End to a Long Tale
The biggest reason why Toy Story is so successful is the masterful way they take adult topics and address them in fun loving children's films. This film was no different and turned out to be a beautiful closing to the overall franchise... If they actually choose to leave it be. I couldn't help but feel as though this film was made for the children who originally watched Toy Story as a kid, watching our toys also grow and move on without us.
