GameCritics (290 KP) rated Tyranny: Bastard's Wound in Video Games
Sep 13, 2017
Bastard’s Wound is an impressive piece of DLC as it takes the choice-heavy gameplay of Tyranny and seamlessly weaves it into the previously-made choices by the player. Whether or not this content is essential depends on how much someone enjoyed Tyranny

Dean (6925 KP) rated Takers (2010) in Movies
Feb 10, 2018
An entertaining if fairly average heist action film. It features a pretty decent line up of actors with rappers T.I. and Chris Brown included. It tries to be very cool, slick but it lacks the style and quality of Heat or Ocean's Eleven. Top marks for trying to compete with those and if you like films along those lines then you should enjoy this as well.

The premise of this movie is goofy, Lindsay Lohan's character is lucky, and Chris Pine's character is not. There's a Freaky Friday-esque (2nd time for Lohan) thing that goes on and they trade luck. This is not a great movie, but I love it. It also randomly features the band McFly. And, I'm probably going to watch it as soon as I purchase it on Amazon.

The guests are usually people I'm fans of, so I listened to this podcast for a number of years. However, Chris Hardwick is a very unlikable host. He is incredibly narcissistic and turns most conversations around to be about himself rather than the guest. Eventually I got tired of hearing about what movie props or animation stills he bought. I no longer listen to the podcast.

Even Chris Hansen wouldn't want to catch The Predator (2018) #Review
The Predator franchise hasn’t had as much bad luck as its studio stablemate the Alien. Sure they both clashed in a pair of adequate/ terrible movies but at least our favourite extra-terrestrial trophy hunter hasn’t appeared in anything as aggressively stupid as “Alien: Covenant”...until now, that is...

A UK prison diary
All hail The Pigeonhole! The app that makes me read - and enjoy - books that I would never normally even pick up. I loved this book!
Chris Atkins was sent to prison for 5 years after being involved in a dodgy tax scheme that was used to finance his films. Wandsworth was to be his home for a large part of his sentence, and this is where the book is set. Chris wrote a diary whilst he was there, and he certainly had enough to write about: drug dealers, self-harmer’s, prison officers, of the helpful, clueless and vindictive varieties, and senior officials trying to instigate some sort of reform (which ends badly, if I’m honest).
It’s a funny, and at times frustrating read. It illustrates everything that’s wrong with our prison system, which seems to be stuck in the Victorian era. We need to decide what we want our prison system to do: to simply incarcerate, or to rehabilitate. The number of people who reoffend is phenomenal - isn’t this a total waste of money? Is this really a reflection of time well served?
Anyway, I suggest everyone reads this and makes up their own minds.
Many thanks to The Pigeonhole for serialising this book, and to the author, Chris Atkins, for reading along.

Private Berlin ( Private book 5)
By James Patterson
Private, the world's most respected investigation firm, has branches around the world, each staffed with the smartest, fastest, and most advanced agents, who have cutting-edge forensic tools that not even the most powerful governments possess.
At Private Berlin, agent Chris Schneider has disappeared. Chris had taken a secretive personal leave and hadn't spoken to anyone from the office in days. The Private team retraces his footsteps to the cases he was investigating before his disappearance: a billionaire suspected of cheating on his wife, a world-famous soccer player accused of throwing games, and the owner of a seedy nightclub. They were the last people to see Chris--and they're all suspects. And someone is lying.
The Private team is led to an abandoned Nazi slaughterhouse where all hope vanishes. As Private digs further into Chris's past, a terrifying history is revealed, and they begin to suspect that someone very dangerous and very depraved is responsible for Chris's disappearance. And he's not finished in Berlin. PRIVATE BERLIN has more twists, action, and deception than any other James Patterson thriller ever.
This was my favourite in this series so far! I loved it so much suspense and guessing I really enjoy catching up with Jack too! Highly recommend this series.

Will Smith would be proud?
Contains spoilers, click to show
Not going to lie. I only watched this to see Chris Hemsworth. He didn't disappoint. However, it is not even slightly on par with the first 3 Men in Black movies. Will Smith made those films what they are and it was upsetting to not see him there or even see the same quality of film. Some of the characters where great though. Penny? Absolutely adorable and by far the best thing about this movie. The action fight scenes were alright and the ending was adequate but what I hated the most, and what I hate about a lot of movies now is the forced romance. Why did they feel the need to add so much tension between Agent H and Agent M? They were a great team but they don't need to be together to show that...
