Over Hyped
It was lackluster for the entire 2 hours and 20 minutes. The movie was basically "Captain America: The First Avenger" with a mediocre story, an unconvincing lead, and a dumb villain. Chris Pine tries to add a certain panache but every line I heard I just thought of Star Trek. I was disappointed, to say the least, for the scores it's getting.

All time favorite movie
I love this movie so much no matter how many times I watch it. I grew up watching it and I just love the characters and there friendship and loyalty to each other. It always makes me laugh and smile and remember good times I had with my childhood friends. I will always miss River Phoenix who did an awesome job of playing Chris Chambers.

Great Sequel
Great sequel! There was plenty of action and plenty of dinosaurs. You wouldn't really know this was a sequel if you hadn't seen the first one already. Sometimes you should stop with one movie and not continue on this movie line is not the case. If they keep making them like they are this will be a great series of movies to watch.

After watching the first in search of darkness I had to watch the follow up and its just as brilliant documentary as the first one more 80s horror movies from the directors and stars hell even Chris jerchio the wrestler talking about his love of 80s horror is fine with me. At 4 and half hours long it's definitely worth a watch Longside the first one if u love 80s horror
Daniel Rossen recommended track The Children, Save the Children by Elvin Jones in It Don't Mean a Thing by Elvin Jones in Music (curated)

Characters – Chris is an undercover detective that starts seeing a psychotherapist to help solve the latest case, but the more time he spends in therapy the thinner the line between reality and the truth come from. Kathleen is an old friend from university that supports Chris, while also having him when she needs help. We have other characters that come into the life of Chris, the therapists trying to help him, the fellow patient trying to warn him, the film does keep the character numbers down with each posing a potential end of the investigation for Chris.
Performances – Tom Meeten appears in every scene and his performances needs to be great to carry the film, he is wonderful through the film as we feel his confusion through it all. Going into the supporting cast, we do have good performances for Tom to bounce off too.
Story – The story is the hardest thing to describe, it will keep you guessing from start to finish as you wait to see where the film will go next. This is both a good thing and a bad thing, because you will need to give the film 100% attention to make sure you don’t miss anything and even if you blink you might miss an important clue.
Thriller – This has tension driven through the film as we can see how thing could end up becoming something shocking.
Settings – The film is set in London which helps us se the busy street feel to the busy lives that the people are living.
Scene of the Movie – The final reveal.
That Moment That Annoyed Me – It is slightly too confusing.
Final Thoughts – This is a real mind bender, I always enjoy seeing film makers push things to the limits even if I don’t personally enjoy the film as much as I should have.
Overall: Real mind bender for all.

Lindsay (1717 KP) rated The Last Thing She Said (Chris Matheson Cold Case Mystery #3) in Books
Oct 9, 2019
The Last Thing She Said is filled with more then one mystery. Chris is the main one that needs to find answers for a dying friend. But what if that friend ends up being a famous author that wants to give her children the legacy that she left behind?
Well the way this plot goes. Chris and his mother do not know anything or seem to know that they are were friends to someone that was to be kidnapped and dead. When your mother last friend is leaves a letter to your son and ask you find out who murder her first husband George? The plot start to get thick and hot again.
This brings in the Geezer Squad to open up the cold case of a century. The author seem to bring in Mac and his wife which help a bit. If you meet the mayor you should not be surprised that their going to be a case that brings laughter between the two dogs.
Their seems that theirs is murder that needs solving that happens to be bring in two murders and a kidnapping. Who killed Lacy Woodhouse? Who would want George Livingston dead? Why extort money from Horace Billingely?
Laura Carr doe not disappoint. She gives us more then one mystery to dig into. How they all be connected and be related to the kidnapping and murder of George Livingston? To find out all this you will have to read The Last Thing she said. There is not one why to find one answers to why Mercedes Livingston? What ever happened to her? Their seems to be mystery until Chris gets and autographed book.
This author does her book brilliantly that I can not wait for the next one. This author adds her other mystery characters in seemly and they seem to help if they can. This time Mac get pulled in a bit. Will his wife be able to help with Chris cold case?

Character stereotypes
Better than expected
I'm really not a fan of Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig, and I was completely against any sort of remake or sequel to the fantastic original, but with this I was pleasantly surprised.
I still didn't like McCarthy and Wiig although I'll admit they weren't as grating as usual. The character of Patty was so stereotypical too which just became very irritating. A lot of the humour too wasn't really my cup of tea but I can't say I'm surprised.
That said, I loved Chris Hemsworth's character and Holtzmann too, and they raised some of the few laughs I got from this film. The effects were brilliant and the plot itself was fairly well thought out. And I loved the cameos from the old Ghostbusters. Not great or a patch on the original, but nowhere near as bad as I'd anticipated.
