The only Christmas story
There have been hundreds of adaptations of this book, and yet this will be the only classic version. It is the original redemption novella. The treatment of the poor and the ability of a self-interested man absolving himself by transforming into a more sympathetic character are the key themes of the story. With A Christmas Carol, Charles Dickens captured the essence of the mid-Victorian revival of the Christmas holiday.

Watched today wouldn't be Christmas without die hard movie on is the first two Christmas movies or not even if they are set both on Christmas eve and feature John mcclane either way still classics as with the first one this is Bruce willis at his best especially wise cracking plenty of stunts in my opinion probably the best of the sequels
Blazing Minds (92 KP) rated The Christmas Chronicles (2018) in Movies

OK, before I start this little review, I have to say that I’ve never been a Christmas movie lover, I’m not too much of a Grinch, but for me Die Hard is the closest I get to one, but last night I was looking through Netflix and noticed that The Christmas Chronicles was showing and I’d heard so much about the Netflix film and that it had one of my favourite actors in it, Kurt Russell, so I gave it a try.
As I mentioned earlier, I’m not really a Christmas movie lover, but The Christmas Chronicles has certainly got me in the Christmas mood (even if it is only November), and to top it all I’ve watched again today, purely for review purposes of course.

Two Christmas Murders in One Volume
This book has two Christmas Hannah Swensen stories for you.
In the first, Christmas Caramel Murder, Hannah gets involved when her business partner is accused of killing her husband’s new secretary, who just happened to be playing Mrs. Claus to Herb’s Santa in the community theater. This book borrows a bit from A Christmas Carol, and that makes it a little weird for fans of the series, but it is still enjoyable, with a good wrap up and cameos if not large parts for the regular characters.
The second story is Christmas Cake Murder, which flashes back to Hannah’s first Christmas after her father passed away. In an effort to get her mother out of her grief, Hannah agrees to help put on a Christmas ball filled with cakes. The mystery doesn’t really kick in until late in the story, although there are bread crumbs early on. What is most fun for fans of the series is watching Hannah build the life we are already familiar with.
Between the two stories, there are lots of recipes for you to try at Christmas.
Obviously, if you already have the two books, you’ll be fine skipping this collection. But if you’ve missed them, you might want to consider this way to get the stories.
