Arrow, a superhero drama, has an appealing lead performance from Stephen Amell. This show's dark and realistic tone really brings on the suspense. It has a very compelling villain in John Barrowman's Malcolm Merlyn, whom is a pretty well-written character that makes you understand his motives. Sometimes the show includes The CW's melodramatic moments, which can be extremely difficult to get through. However, the show still manages to pull the audience back in with it's well-choreographed, cinema-quality action sequences and brilliant performances from very talented actors and actresses.

"My dad introduced me to cinema when I was a kid, to watch old films and foreign films, and so I think I was just touched by the idea of a young kid getting to know the projectionist in a village and falling in love with the world of cinema. I kind of related to that. And then I related to the idea of a kid’s passion for movies and eventually getting out and making movies himself. I like the idea of that. And the pacing of the film, and the beauty of the cinematography, and the relationship between the boy and the projectionist is very, very sweet and very touching."

"I watched this film at a small theater in Paris, with an audience of mostly French people in their sixties. In that environment, it actually managed to resensitize me to cinema violence, something I assumed was impossible. Hearing the gasps from the audience allowed me to see the film as intended. These poor old French people were being assaulted by the film. It was rocking their world! When the lights came up, I was both upset by the film and delighted by the expressions on the faces around me. We were all just looking at each other in silence. After that, I better understood the power of a collective cinema experience."

Average Thriller
Missed this at the cinema so caught it on Sky cinema. Pretty average Thriller featuring an undercover informant. Events make him not sure who to trust and put him and his family at risk.
The main problem is this feels like a lot of other undercover plot type films but no where near as good. Some of the decisions made and actions taken didn't make much sense. It has quite a low budget feel to it overall. Lots of twists and turns to a predictable ending. It's all a bit clichéd by the end. An ok thriller but nothing special.

Should have had a cinema release (0 more)
Another sci fi movie I've seen today short runtime which suits the movie well the star of the movie for me is katlyn deaver she basically spends the entire movie on her own with the alien visitors thruout the 93 min runtime and there's the lack of dialogue as well which surprised me at first but I got used to it by the end of the movie liked the look of the aliens too. In my opinion this should have a cinema release and not straight to disney plus which is where I watched the movie
