Man VS Nature
Very nicely written and believable story. A story I have remembered since I first read it in Middle School. I still use it in my Middle School classroom today. Haven't met a student that hasn't enjoyed reading it! You will cry!

I would use thiswhen I was allowed to pick the books I taught. Loved it and it was good for both boys and girls.

The recent popularity of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) has put a spotlight on immersive technology—and the curriculum may never look the same again.

We're beginning to see this technology in the classroom and Google is making the same type of technology available soon to open the door for more AR in classrooms.

Apple has released a new resource for app developers—the ARKit—that has supercharged augmented reality for fields like entertainment, gaming, advertising and, of course, education.

In book 3 of Assassination Classroom, there are multiple attempts to take out the monster teacher. The female assassin is still there, trying to kill and teach. We are introduced to get another character, this time being an A.I. unit that tries its hand at assassination. There is also some time spent on a lesson about getting revenge.

This is a great way for teachers to keep in touch with parents. I love getting random pictures of what the class is working on, especially when I receive a picture of my child. It can be a great pick me up on a rough day, and helps keep me informed about what things my child is working on.

A great classroom addition
We use this app throughout our primary school (from reception to year 6) and all the children love it . It encourages good behaviour and good work. We exchange our Dojo points for prizes within school at our very own Dojo shop The children love to see how many points they have as well as saving up the points to get a better prize.

[This is How I Find Her] by [Sara Polsky] was a different take on dealing with mental illness for YA. Instead of the teen struggling with her own mental illness she is struggling with her mom who suffers from it. [Polsky] does a good job showing the struggles of those who love someone who has a mental illness in all different ways. I will be adding this book to my classroom library.

I listened to this book as a child and had almost forgotten about it when I found a copy of it in my mum's classroom and borrowed/nicked it. I had forgotten just how brilliant it is and what a wonderful writer Eva Ibbotson is in general.

Brilliantly paced, beautifully told, completely touching and then hilarious by turns. This is definitely a book that I will return to if ever I am at a loss for something to read.

In the 100th year of women gaining the vote in the UK, this book is ideal for introducing young people to one of the leading names in that struggle. As a book in a school library or classroom, available for project work or a book borrowed from a library by an active parent, this book gives the background without being too over the top with the politics, allowing curious minds to question and discussions about equality and rights to follow.
