Assassination Classroom is a funny, quirky manga. The premise is that a classroom of academic misfits have been given the task of assassinating their monster homeroom teacher before the end of the year. They try each day, and train in different tactics, but continually fail because the monster evades them. At the same time, the monster is a caring, helpful teacher for his students. It's a odd and funny story. Looking forward to book 2!

Very easy to read unlike many other professional development books Ive come across. The ideas are helpful. Materials are provided that make the lessons easy to implement immediately in your classroom.

I liked volume 17 of Assassination Classroom better than some others. It was pretty entertaining all the way through, and focused on one situation at a time, which some other volumes don't.

Volume 2 of Assassination Classroom continues the oddball storyline of a misfit class of students that are trying to assassinate their teacher. The book covers are colorful and cute, but the series is not for young readers. In book 2, we are introduced to a new teacher character, who happens to be a professional assassin. This lady needs to try her hand at the assassination as well as get used to teaching kids in a classroom setting. The class also gets to head out on a class trip to Koyoto. More fun to come...

This book will be on my classroom shelf! I have also recommended it to my school's media specialist. The action and adventure of this book was topped of with a positive message. I will be looking for the second [Realm Walker] book.
