Loved this book. Not happy about the cliffhanger, I need the next book lol. The characters and plot got even better in this book. I love the dynamics in this story and the way it flows.

Really good although the ending was a little... no, not disappointing. I don't know how to describe it. I know there's a third book but there was no dramatic cliffhanger. It sort of just fizzled out.

Dark, gory, even a little uncomfortable, considering it makes you wonder whether or not Lana is in the right. A short, sexy read with a heck of a cliffhanger. I'm definitely looking forward to reading the second book!

I have to say this book has been my favorite in the series so far. The worst part about it is that I have to wait for the next book to find out what happens. The cliffhanger ending is BRUTAL!!

Another one for the si-fi fan, lots of surprises and double crossing, but it is called The Event, but the event never actually happened because series 2 was cancelled or never filmed, so finished on a big cliffhanger. Otherwise very good.

4.5 stars.
It would have been 5 if not for that proper cliffhanger ending.
It was all sweetness and light and rainbows and butterfies for me throughout, though it drove me mad a few times with how oblivious they both were to each others feelings, but that end bit! So dark and cliffhanger-y. I even had to carry on into the sneak peek for the next book just to try and get some answers but nope, cut off before we find out if everyone is okay. Bloody hell!
Now i really need to read book 2 to see what happens next.

To be fair I was left wanting with this book, it didn't tick all the boxes I was expecting but it was a good read and although you need to read the next book to find out what happens next its not left on a cliffhanger
